Perched on the Lizard Peninsula cliffs, Polurrian Bay Hotel has both a 2 AA Rosette restaurant, and more relaxed lounge dining area, perfect for families. Breathtaking views out onto the sea feature throughout, with tastes of Cornwall showcased alongside traditional afternoon teas.

The Polurrian Bay Hotel menu champions the finest fresh, seasonal tastes of the local area. Grilled mackerel fillets caught in the nearby surf are served with courgette, remoulade, pickled vegetables and wasabi crème fraîche. Other tastes of Cornwall include local braised feather blade of beef with horseradish crushed potato, roast butternut, buttered kale and shallot jus, and from the bar there is a selection of international beers, inventive cocktails, and eclectic artisan spirits.

Indulgent afternoon teas are perfect to enjoy in the comfy lounge at Polurrian Bay Hotel in Cornwall, with floor-to-ceiling windows letting diners look out onto the shoreline. The dessert menu also features a great selection of sweet treats, such as chocolate brownie with orange and mascarpone cream.

Also offering dedicated children's menus, Polurrian Bay Hotel is a versatile eatery with stunning views. The local beach is just a stone's throw away, while the local beauty spot of Mullion Harbour is reached with a 4-minute drive.

Menu was average. Some items excellent and some very poor - eg the aubergine curry which was barely a curry and poorly cooked. The fish dishes were good and also the steak. The goats cheese mousse starter was beautiful!

Booked for Sunday lunch. Walked in reception waived us through to conservatory, no one available to direct us, finally a group came in who had obviously been before, we followed them to restaurant. We were told to sit anywhere. Finally a waiter came to ask if a drink was required, so far no food or drinks menu offered. Another lengthy wait for waiter, and asked what roast was available. We both picked roast pork, which was ok, but vegetable were warm only, the pork was decidedly cool, and no crackling. Also had to ask for apple sauce. Decided against anything else. On a positive note the view was brilliant.

We came to Polurrian to celebrate a birthday and it was absolutely perfect. On arrival we were given the option to look over menu's and enjoy a drink in the lounge or go straight to our table - we chose to go to the lounge and wasn't disappointed. The views out over the bay are incredible and we were lucky to have such lovely weather.
The dishes we had were divine! The service was attentive and staff were friendly, catering to our needs.
Would highly recommend Polurrian Bay Hotel.

Poor service. Extra long wait due to staff being more attentive to dogs and families with children.

Booked an afternoon tea for my mum's birthday and it was lovely. The waiter was very attentive, polite and friendly and we all had a lovely time and felt quite posh!! Thank you x
