Really nice, we waited a little too long to be served for our main meals and had to promopt the staff to serve us. £30 a bottle of prosecco was a little steep as well.

Following the success of the acclaimed POLPO in Soho, Russell Norman brings POLPO to Notting Hill. Signature Venetian small plates are served in a laidback setting, amidst exposed brickwork and tin ceilings.

Reminiscent of Venice’s charming backstreet restaurants, POLPO specialises in Venetian small plates and spritz. Hand-rolled meatballs, freshly-stretched pizzettes and fresh colourful salads head up the menu. The main menu varies with the seasons and favourite creations include cuttlefish & squid ink risotto with gremolata, roast stuffed pork, lentils & radicchio and crab & chilli linguine. For dessert, choose from a variety of classics, such as tiramisu or Venetian ricotta doughnuts with cinnamon sugar.

Bringing Italian charm to London, POLPO Notting Hill is a 2-minute walk from Notting Hill Gate Tube Station.

Overpriced and not the expected quality. Food was not very good.
Also, I was supposed to get 20% off for singing up to the newsletter but didn't get it.

This isn't like other Polpos. Tasteless food, fruit flies around the table, casual service.

went with family to celebrate my son's 19th birtday. It was almost a disaster with poor and confused service and my pasta was horrible and totally overspiced with black pepper. we started our celebration at the table with a drink and soon after they were beginning to serve our food, I had to ask them to slow down a bit so we could finish our drink first. the food followed although very fast and we barely had finished our drinks. I also had to ask for the wine which should have arrived before the food in any normal restaurang. Got a very arrogant answer that it will surely arrive if I had ordered it, but I think they simply had forgotten it. It arrived after about 5-10 minutes after my reminder. As tourists in London we choose this restaurant after a recommendation in British Vogue which I definitely thought would mean a higher standard. This was one of my worst dining experiences, even lunch restaurants and mcdonalds is better in the sence that you get what you expect.

Visited Polpo Notting Hill for my partner’s birthday. I have booked in advance and left message about the occasion and asked about dessert with candle. Very attentive staff during dinner, the food (although portion of every dish is quite small) was delicious. Definitely recommend the fried olives for starter! They remembered my message and brought dessert with candles! Very cosy atmosphere and great service even if it was a Friday night. Recommend going a bit early (We got in around 18:30-19:00) as it gets quite busy from about 20:00! Drinks are a bit pricey, but other than that, perfect night for cosy dinner!

5 of us came here for a birthday dinner. The staffer were amazingly friendly and went above an beyond to make sure we had a great dining experience and made the birthday girl feel very special. The food was fab!

There was nothing special about dining here. The interior of the restaurant looks like it is dated and needs to be cleaned. The staff is certainly nice enough but the food was average at best.

Gorgeous restaurant! Delicious food, different and exciting to the norm, fab for a group as you get a load of dishes to share. The restaurant itself is lovely and the staff are brilliant - so welcoming, friendly, helpful and kind - it was my mums birthday and through the evening different staff members came over to say happy birthday. Love it!
