Wonderful food - simple, very accomplished and delicious; professional, obliging and highly personal service, great atmosphere - sophisticated yet relaxed. The lunchtime set menu is excellent value for money. Could not fault it in any way and can't wait to find an excuse to go back.

The table was booked for 12.45 for myself and my friend Rob. We thought the whole experience was incredibly relaxing, and in particular the service was super-efficient and friendly without being intrusive. We had no criticisms.

We dined at the last sitting around 10pm. Before arriving we were uncertain about late booking as this can sometimes lead to feeling rushed but this was far from our experience. The service was very helpful in terms of the dishes and wine accompaniment. We were particularly impressed with the cocktail barman (Kyle I think) who went off menu for my specific likes (Peated Whisky cocktails).
