The food was fantastic. The service was great. Part of the menu wasn't available but all what we choose was really good.

Having evolved from a South Bank-based food truck into a sprawling East London restaurant, Pitt Cue is home to some of London’s most celebrated barbecue food, along with signature Cue cocktails. This industrial-style space is filled with bare brick, weathered wood and exposed pipes, and there is also a Pitt Cue brewery on site.

Known for the most tender meats around and incredible sides, the Pitt Cue menu features dishes like smoked featherblade with carrot purée, cured jowl, and onglet with oyster mushrooms. The famous bone marrow mash features on the sides list, as well as cauliflower with green peppercorns. The menu changes with the seasons, and there are always specials on the chalkboard.

The lengthy drinks list at Pitt Cue near Liverpool Street features a mix of local and further afield beers, plus a rotating list from the in-house Alphabeta brewery. Heady re-workings of classic cocktails include the Sgt Pepper, and a bourbon sour.

A high-energy restaurant in the City, guests can also enjoy views of chef-mastery at work in the open kitchen at Pitt Cue in London. Liverpool Street Station is a 3-minute walk away.

My friends arrived before me and told me the table was sorted, so we had drinks at the bar while waiting for my partner to arrive. The staff were cheeky, friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and rich - definitely a place to go for a treat. We weren't rushed in any way and we all had a jolly (and boozy) time!

Beautiful food, lovely house beer (had the honey and sage ale), and an impressive wine list -- it was nice to see some lesser-known countries and grapes (the hungarian red we had was tasty!)
To start we shared the house pickles, the cod's roe, and the grilled lambs heart. The heart was wonderfully tender, with just a touch of char and smokiness from the grill, perfect! The pickles kept a good crunch, and had a good piquancy and spice level; the roe was tasty, though I think I prefer mine a little longer brined perhaps?
For mains we shared the pig cheek and the beef neck from the smoker, with some bone marrow mash, and the blood orange, dandelion and almond salad. All of these were great, the mash was some of the best I had ever tasted, with brilliant texture -- for the salad, however, although it was wonderfully fresh, and the citrus a good palate cleanser/ 'cut' after the mains it would have been good to see the blood orange celebrated a little more, perhaps with a couple of segments gone over with a blow torch (but perhaps I am old fashioned...!)
    Service was attentive, many thanks!

Excellent restaurant - good selection of food and drinks. High quality meat - very tasty, although a tad expensive. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Music was whack - playing the whole of the Bugsy Malone soundtrack - proper naff.

The old place was a lot more intimate and in my opinion a lot better. Had the Lamb Neck fillet and Lamb Denver and while both delicious. They were both very tough and chewy. I understand these cuts are a little chewier in general but these were really chewy. The beers need an upgrade and also they don;t do pickle backs anytmore which is a shame.

Good service, nice tasty food. Slightly small portions and was gutted that Scrumpet was missing from the menu when I visited. Had been looking forward to that! Still, good times.

I love everything about Pitt Cue.
The staff, the great boubon and, of course, the smoked meat dishes.
