Fantastic overall. Food is simple, and delicious, wouldn’t change a thing.

Having evolved from a South Bank-based food truck into a sprawling East London restaurant, Pitt Cue is home to some of London’s most celebrated barbecue food, along with signature Cue cocktails. This industrial-style space is filled with bare brick, weathered wood and exposed pipes, and there is also a Pitt Cue brewery on site.

Known for the most tender meats around and incredible sides, the Pitt Cue menu features dishes like smoked featherblade with carrot purée, cured jowl, and onglet with oyster mushrooms. The famous bone marrow mash features on the sides list, as well as cauliflower with green peppercorns. The menu changes with the seasons, and there are always specials on the chalkboard.

The lengthy drinks list at Pitt Cue near Liverpool Street features a mix of local and further afield beers, plus a rotating list from the in-house Alphabeta brewery. Heady re-workings of classic cocktails include the Sgt Pepper, and a bourbon sour.

A high-energy restaurant in the City, guests can also enjoy views of chef-mastery at work in the open kitchen at Pitt Cue in London. Liverpool Street Station is a 3-minute walk away.

we enjoyed a fine dining in a very nice outside sitting in a private square , wine was excellent, one of the best we had for a while. It was child friendly and had high chair and interesting stickers. The only downside the portion was small which is norm in fine restaurants . The service was slow , we were with our son and he could sit any more when the food arrived .

Pretty damn good. You'll need decent money to enjoy it to the full (unless there's a money-off deal (which just means you should buy a better bottle of wine), but the portions are satisfying because of the quality of the meat and intensity of flavours. Had a nice discussion with the sommelier whether the replacement bottle for the first one that was off was quite as it should be (answer: let's decant it and see - fine) and the service was slick and friendly. The cocktails seem to be made with beautifully-fresh ingredients. Even though it was full, it wasn't noisy or stuffy (a Monday, however). Recommended.

Great food, sometimes the best is in the specials (sometimes you come for a special there isn't, though the staff do everything to try and find or make options).

Fantastic flavours and choice of meals in a great location

I enjoyed the experience, but overall I think both my guest and I were a little underwhelmed by the main dishes. The menu lacks some of the crowd pleasers e.g. no ribs, no chicken. Cheap cuts of meat often have great flavour, but our smoked neck of lamb left us a bit disappointed. It felt more like the cuts were there to squeeze profit than for the customer's benefit. The onions with romesco sauce was a triumph, however. We also loved the bar and the house beers on tap.
