Having evolved from a South Bank-based food truck into a sprawling East London restaurant, Pitt Cue is home to some of London’s most celebrated barbecue food, along with signature Cue cocktails. This industrial-style space is filled with bare brick, weathered wood and exposed pipes, and there is also a Pitt Cue brewery on site.
Known for the most tender meats around and incredible sides, the Pitt Cue menu features dishes like smoked featherblade with carrot purée, cured jowl, and onglet with oyster mushrooms. The famous bone marrow mash features on the sides list, as well as cauliflower with green peppercorns. The menu changes with the seasons, and there are always specials on the chalkboard.
The lengthy drinks list at Pitt Cue near Liverpool Street features a mix of local and further afield beers, plus a rotating list from the in-house Alphabeta brewery. Heady re-workings of classic cocktails include the Sgt Pepper, and a bourbon sour.
A high-energy restaurant in the City, guests can also enjoy views of chef-mastery at work in the open kitchen at Pitt Cue in London. Liverpool Street Station is a 3-minute walk away.

This place is meat heaven. Amazing service, very knowledgeable staff, great setting and stunning food. I had the Grilled Ox Tongue, which has to go down as one of the best starters I've ever had, and then followed by the Smoked Beef Neck and Shitake Mushroom.....great portions, big flavours....all in all a belter of meal. Highly recommended.

Every part of my dining experience at Pitt Cue was fantastic. From our waitress to the drinks to the food, it was all phenomenal. I came to the restaurant with high expectations and they were exceeded! We tried several different dishes that were all delicious, but the Mangalitza bacon & BBQ mayo was probably the best thing I have ever tasted in my whole life. The service was also very good even though the restaurant was packed.

Fantastic menu of meats and some additional variety dishes. Initially came on recommendation and have passed on to friends many times since. Waiting staff were also particularly helpful to accommodate diner with dairy intolerance. Particular mention to the blood cake and all main meat cuts due to an excellent cooking process.

It's a good restaurant with tasty food. However it isn't the best BBq type food I have had and I found the meat to be slightly on the over seasoned side. Bother the rump cap and lamb neck we had were salty and combined with the side dishes and provided veg combined to tip the experience from extremely pleasant to slightly overbearing over the course of the meal. In addition the menu construction is weak with little to allow a diner to pick a suitable combinations and the waiter whilst keen to please didn't provide useful guidance on this matter. Overall whilst it's clear that each individual piece of the meal was well prepared and a regular would be able to acquire the knowledge to construct a delightful experience I would not recommend this restaurant to a couple or solo diner attending for the first time. However it strikes me as an excellent place for a large group as a wider selection from the menu would allow diners to pick and choose a greater selection of dishes and sample a wider range of accompaniments. Overall a good establishment but smokestack remains my favourite BBQ place in London.

Excellent food, generous portions. Only niggles as follows: found the ribs (starter) a little over done, but the bbq sauce made up for it. Wasn't asked how I'd like my steak cooked which came out the rarer side of medium-rare - not best for a rib-eye. The side dishes (bonemarrow mash, burnt ends beans and slaw were all excellent.

Had a wonderful time at Pitt Cue. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. My favourite sidedish was the beans and meat bits, but the lamb on the specials board was excellent, not to mention the beef rib either. Would highly recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

A very warm welcome as always. We had great service. The guy who served us made great beer and wine recommendations. The rib of beef is always the best thing on the menu and after 4 visits, remains as consistent as ever.
