Incredible food, great beer and great service. One of best BBQ restaurants I've ever had the pleasure to visit.

Having evolved from a South Bank-based food truck into a sprawling East London restaurant, Pitt Cue is home to some of London’s most celebrated barbecue food, along with signature Cue cocktails. This industrial-style space is filled with bare brick, weathered wood and exposed pipes, and there is also a Pitt Cue brewery on site.

Known for the most tender meats around and incredible sides, the Pitt Cue menu features dishes like smoked featherblade with carrot purée, cured jowl, and onglet with oyster mushrooms. The famous bone marrow mash features on the sides list, as well as cauliflower with green peppercorns. The menu changes with the seasons, and there are always specials on the chalkboard.

The lengthy drinks list at Pitt Cue near Liverpool Street features a mix of local and further afield beers, plus a rotating list from the in-house Alphabeta brewery. Heady re-workings of classic cocktails include the Sgt Pepper, and a bourbon sour.

A high-energy restaurant in the City, guests can also enjoy views of chef-mastery at work in the open kitchen at Pitt Cue in London. Liverpool Street Station is a 3-minute walk away.

I had heard about Pitt Cue from food programmes on youtube where it earned rave reviews and I was excited to try. Overall the food was 'good'. I wouldn't say it was the best food i've ever eaten nor was it at all bad. I was looking forward to trying its much celebrated pulled pork sandwich or beef ribs but found out it is an ever changing menu which is totally fine, what I did order was the pig jowl, hanger steak and a few sides and starters. I wouldn't have called the current menu 'barbecue' per say and it was somewhat overpriced relative to portion size. The restaurant itself is lovely and we had a nice seat. The only very slight negative was that the staff seemed a little disinterested and although definitely not bad as such they just gave the impression of getting us in and out without any real exemplary service. OVerall i'd rate it as slightly above average as the food is of decent quality but I don't think I could ever agree with some of the hyped reviews I had previously read/watched.

Great traditional food with a modern twist. Best for meat, BBQ and smoked style.

Fantastic meat, great selection of beers and drinks, prepared and attentive staff, nice and trendy decor: Pitt Cue is just a gem for meat lovers. The cuts are limited, so it's recommended to show up not too late. The lamb and the mangaliza pork are exquisite, but unexpectedly the genius is in the sides and starters: the bone marrow mash and the potato peels with kimchi mayo are unmissable. One small issue: when the place is crowded, it can get really noisy, and the (pointlessly) loud music certainly doesn't help.

The service was quite good, unfortunately one of my party was vegetarian which I didn't realise but they did accommodate her with a tasty main meal.
    Food was good.

Great on-site Brewerey and great staff and food. Head chef happy to take us for a your around the kitchen and explain the smoking processes.

The pigs jowl was melt in the mouth soft and the smoked lamb neck was stunning with loads of meaty flavours and a hint of smoke.

We went for my husband’s birthday and had a lovely evening. The staff were really attentive and looked after us well - I’m pregnant and they went out of their way to help me find something pregnancy friendly to eat. They did bring me a delicious cocktail which having drunk some, they took away because they’d put alcohol in it (explains why it was so delicious) but I forgive them! Food was good quality, delicious and fairly reasonably priced. It’s not for people who like sticking to standard cuts - we had heart, pigs head, and pigs jowl, which was incredible! My only criticism is that as things got busier, the service became very slow, but we were too busy enjoying ourselves so didn’t mind.

Sadly about 3/4 of the way through the meal my friend and I saw a mouse run across the floor through the restaurant. We told the staff - no shock and nor were they particularly apologetic - what we got instead was about 5 minutes of very friendly but blasé 'you know... they're everywhere in London, this is a very old building etc' and a free drink... about 15 minutes later another (or same) mouse again, running through the restaurant - same attitude again 'he's harmless'. Here's your bill.

I have lived in London for 6 years and eat out about 3 times a week and cannot recall ever seeing a mouse in a restaurant before, definitely not twice. If the staff are conditioned to think it's ok they have a problem either way. I would avoid for the time-being. If you don't mind mice the food was excellent - as always; bone marrow sourdough and a wonderful denver cut of pork.

An absolute carnivores delight. The ambience was delightful, staff helpful, charming and smiling, with an excellent knowledge of both the menu and the wine list. Some fantastic stake with some excellent back, what a way to celebrate a birthday. We will certainly return, perhaps with hungry friends.
