Restaurant description

Using only quality, healthy and natural ingredients, Pisqu in Fitzrovia serves up authentic Peruvian cooking. Vibrant dishes are served in a sleek, minimalist setting.

From head chef William Ortiz, the Pisqu menu is packed with flavour. Signature dishes include an Inca corn cake bake, hot ceviche, confit pork belly, and beef fillet with Pachamama sauce. Round off a meal with purple corn ice cream and chocolate mousse with matcha ice cream.

The bar at Pisqu restaurant offers signature Peruvian pisco sours, alongside a selection of cocktails, fine wines and beers. Organic Peruvian coffee from Cuzco is also served.

    I've been to this place a few times for pisque sours, which are absolutely delicious. However, tried dinner (the special 3-course meal deal) and wasn't that impressed. The started (seafood cevice was good) but main could definitely be better. We tried both beef and seafood and both dishes were ok but not great. The waiter's English could be better, as there were quite a few miscommunications involved and we had to chase our drinks. For the meal deal, the experience was ok but I wouldn't pay the full price for that main course.

    We had three course plus a glass of Prosecco pre theatre deal in the evening. Although the starter Ceviche was a bit too sharp for our liking, it was still fresh and tasty. My main was grilled fish which came with creamy mash and spicy sauce which was very nice. The desert Peruvian Alfajores were delicate and very nice. Waiter was very attentive and overall very satisfied.Highly recommended.

    Both excellent food and service all round. We had a mixture of fish, meat and vegetarian dishes and all were very tasty and excellently presented. Try the sour cocktails especially the piquant one, they are both unusual and inventive.

    Food was good, but, service was a bit chaotic, great cocktails- good value set menu, but, not as good as other Peruvian restaurants in similar area

    Lovely little restaurant around the corner from Tottenham Court Road tube station. I went during their happy hour (6-7pm) and was seriously impressed by their Pisco Sour cocktails. The service was excellent and the starters were delicious. I was slightly disappointed by the main which I found to be slightly overcooked but overall I had a lovely evening. I would definitely return for cocktails and starters!

    Great food and great value for money. We had the 3 course set menu and it was fantastic, though we had had to sit in the basement downstairs which was cold and breezy...the tables were very close together which made it difficult to talk privately.

    Excellent food . Good service . We ate upstairs which is small but preferable to downstairs which is quite dark . We had the special deal which was very good value for money . Recommend sea food main course or quinoa for vegetarians. we had two meat eaters and two vegetarians and set menu had good choice for both .Glass of prosecco inclusive meant we didn't have to buy a bottle of wine so could sample their Peruvian beer and their cocktails beforehand . All in all exceeded our expectations With extra drink and service was 45 per head. Special offer 3 course meal is 28. . .
