Serving up irresistible dim sum by the riverside, Ping Pong Southbank is a vibrant location to enjoy traditional Chinese food. A covered al fresco terrace and the Ping Pong restaurant’s huge windows offer great London views, while upstairs the buzzing cocktail bar has Martinis, coolers and more.

Offering a wide range of Asian treats, the sleek Ping Pong restaurants pay homage to the ancient traditions of Chinese tea houses. With a big choice of dumplings and steamed buns, the Ping Pong menu also offers an array of fragrant Chinese soups and rice pots.

There are plenty of familiar Chinese delicacies, with spring rolls, prawn toasts and honey-glazed spare ribs. Finish with a lively Ping Pong cocktail or soothing Oriental tea.

Right by the Southbank Centre and close to Tate Modern, Ping Pong Southbank restaurant enjoys a stunning location by the Thames. Ping Pong Southbank is a 4-minute walk from London Waterloo Train Station.

Always great food and the cocktails are divine!

Food was sub-par - nothing special and the service we received on the day left a lot to be desired. Lots of mixed messages from the waiter which resulted in us having to pay for items we believed were complimentary as part of our booking promotion. Would not come back as there are plenty of better dim sum restaurants which offer far better value in central London... especially when compared to the cost and poor experience of our recent dining visit.

Lovely food, excellent location. It's a bit noisy if you are expecting to have dinner in a quiet place, but otherwise we were fine. One of our waiters was very nice and helpful, the other one wasn't so good, but still the service was ok.

    Crappy service
    Mediocre food

Really nice dinner. I really love the spring rolls here. The main thing is that it is always crowded and maybe it is a little noisy.

A firm favourite- have visited many times. Good dim sum.

Food was excellent, good choice, and nicely served. The only slight quibble was that there was a delay between the dishes brought out, which meant one of our party had to start eating earlier. Cocktails absolutely superb. Nice ambience - it was quiet, which was lovely. No loud music, which is a bonus. Very friendly service.

Great food, although table quite cramped for 2 adults and Dim Sum. Would be great to not always be sat straight next to others if there is space, just feels less cramped also. Please consider non alocolic beer as an option
