Coats from two people taken at the reception, guided to pleasant seating area. Fabulous two main courses of pasta with smoked salmon and a sea food risotto, then two scrumptious desserts of chocolate almond slice and chocolate bread and butter pudding. Service throughout the stay was excellent.

very good... service was very good, restaurant atmosphere was good, menu is varied and food is nice. Italian restaurants can be much of a muchness, so food was as expected and typical, however it did get me saying "lovely..this is how spare ribs should be served" and (Seafood spaghetti) "this is very nice", so better than average!
Not many people in the restaurant, but I'm pretty sure its due to it being that "funny week" after New Year. My 6 year old daughter was happy with the special treatment from the staff, so I'd say this is a good reflection on the service level :)

Last minute decision to try this restaurant. Made easy by the online table booking service. Good choice menu with standard Italian dishes and more. The sharing garlic bread with rosemary and mozzarella was delicious. I opted for a 500g aged mature ribble. DI-VINE. Steak so tender hardly needed to use a knife
Partner opted for lasagne. Very tasty. Pannacotta and tiramisu good choice for dessert. Ambiance was romantic. Staff were excellent
Upmarket chain high quality service and food.

We love this restaurant and have gone every New Years Eve afternoon for seven years - and many times in between. We loved the food but the first 40 minutes were very uncharacterustic - had to ask for men's after waiting 20 minutes, had to ask for our drinks order to be taken and had to ask for someone to take our food order after waiting forty minutes. They appeared to be short staffed with two huge tables in and once some extra staff arrived it settled down. We enjoyed it and would return but it was disappointing to begin with!

5 of us had a lovely meal and great evening until we came to pay the bill and found that we were being overcharged by £35 for drinks that we didn't have....we pointed it out to management who were extremely rude and made no apology saying only "mistakes happen" ......we WONT be back

Lovely restaurant second time I've visited and the service and food have been excellent. A bit disappointed they ran out of my favourite dish lasagna but the chef made me an alternative dish which was very tasty. Cheesecake and wine is fabulous.
