Restaurant description

From the founders of popular Viet Eat in Holborn, Pho & Bun Soho serves up authentic Vietnamese street food in the heart of the theatre district.

Unsurprisingly, the Pho & Bun menu is led by traditional pho noodle soup and steamed burger buns. The pho is simmered overnight to create a healthy and flavoursome broth that is packed with herbs and spices. Freshly made in house, the steamed buns are filled with 28-day-aged beef patties and a signature smoky mayonnaise. Elsewhere on the menu find dishes like barbecue honey pork with vermicelli or crispy crab spring rolls.

Finish with the likes of caramel flan with Vietnamese iced coffee, or pandan and coconut panna cotta. Pho & Bun on Shaftesbury Avenue is also home to a selection of wines, Vietnamese beer and fresh juice.

A relaxed, contemporary restaurant dotted with Vietnamese features, find Pho & Bun London a short walk from both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Dishes displayed on a la carte menus are representative of the type of food available at the restaurant.

The food was absolutely delicious. Had pre theatre menu with mango salad and tofu vermicelli. Both were a fiesta of flavours. Phi and Bun is a gem of a restaurant, centrally located, and is highly recommended after Saturdays visit. Excellent value for money but the best thing is the wonderful food. Go there today, it’s great!

Wine was good, good prices from looking at the menu but food wasn’t worth it. Spring rolls were very nice but the mains were not.

It was a livery meal we had. Jasmin tea had excellent fragrant, starter (fresh spring rolls and mango salad) was very tasty and the main courses were excellent! Well go there again when we visit London.

Small and cosy restaurant on Shaftesbury Avenue. Not ideal for the hottest day of the year but our table near the open window helped! We had the 4 course set menu which was very good. With plenty of choice in each section we tried a selection of dishes all of which were very tasty. Best dishes included the honey wings and ribs and the special fried rice.
