From the founders of popular Viet Eat in Holborn, Pho & Bun Soho serves up authentic Vietnamese street food in the heart of the theatre district.

Unsurprisingly, the Pho & Bun menu is led by traditional pho noodle soup and steamed burger buns. The pho is simmered overnight to create a healthy and flavoursome broth that is packed with herbs and spices. Freshly made in house, the steamed buns are filled with 28-day-aged beef patties and a signature smoky mayonnaise. Elsewhere on the menu find dishes like barbecue honey pork with vermicelli or crispy crab spring rolls.

Finish with the likes of caramel flan with Vietnamese iced coffee, or pandan and coconut panna cotta. Pho & Bun on Shaftesbury Avenue is also home to a selection of wines, Vietnamese beer and fresh juice.

A relaxed, contemporary restaurant dotted with Vietnamese features, find Pho & Bun London a short walk from both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Food excellent but service although polite was a trifle slow

Food was reasonably tasty, not amazing though. Will remember Pho and Bun more for the poor service, it’s not a big place, there’s probably around 20 tables max. However, the staff seemed somewhat overrun, and it showed when 2 out of 3 dishes we ordered were incorrect, and the one that was correct took another 10 minutes to arrive. Who I assume was the manager took the service charge off, but the waitress that then took the payment seemed quite angry, couldn’t figure out what half the bill was, and didn’t seem to speak English very well. More disappointed than anything else.

Great place to grab a quick bite to eat in the West End. Really enjoyed the Tiger Prawn Bao Burger and the Chargrilled Pork Lollipops. Food and drinks came very quickly to the table which was perfect considering we were in a rush to make a show just around the corner. Service great and the layout provides an authentic Vietnamese street food experience. Will be returning.

The starters were great but not so much can be said of the mains.

Really nice meal and great value for money! Lots of options on the set menu. Would reccomend the mango and tiger prawn salad and the summer roll. Ribs were a little bit dry and small portion.

Food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Pho noodle soup was tasted as if a whole tub of salt was poured in. The best dish was the frozen yoghurt. The staff didn’t seem attentive and service was slow. We asked for the service charge to be removed from our bill as we weren’t happy with the service and staff didn’t even enquire as to why we were unhappy.
