From the founders of popular Viet Eat in Holborn, Pho & Bun Soho serves up authentic Vietnamese street food in the heart of the theatre district.

Unsurprisingly, the Pho & Bun menu is led by traditional pho noodle soup and steamed burger buns. The pho is simmered overnight to create a healthy and flavoursome broth that is packed with herbs and spices. Freshly made in house, the steamed buns are filled with 28-day-aged beef patties and a signature smoky mayonnaise. Elsewhere on the menu find dishes like barbecue honey pork with vermicelli or crispy crab spring rolls.

Finish with the likes of caramel flan with Vietnamese iced coffee, or pandan and coconut panna cotta. Pho & Bun on Shaftesbury Avenue is also home to a selection of wines, Vietnamese beer and fresh juice.

A relaxed, contemporary restaurant dotted with Vietnamese features, find Pho & Bun London a short walk from both Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus Tube stations.

Not what we expected because the Restaurant appeared quite small, but wasn't. Service was impeccable and time was taken to explain how ordering worked, and traditional way to eat it. The food looked very appetising and came with sauces to complement our choice. The restaurant was busy, relaxed and welcoming for a lunchtime. We are already planning our next visit, an evening one this time before the theatre. Hard to say favourite dishes because each varied and we loved it all. Generous portions and good value for money. No hidden extras. Nothing to dislike at all.

By far the best beef Pho noodle soup in the UK. The whole meal deal menu is tasty and great value for money.
Staff are extremely friendly and welcoming too.

When you fist enter the restaurant you could think that you're in the wrong place; it looks tiny. It is however a Tardis with a cosy basement and bar.

The deal offered was incredibly generous and it's difficult to see how it was viable: two starters, main, desert, and a beer/wine.

All of the dishes were excellent. I can't pick one dish as best.

Service was warm and quick, no long waits between dishes, though the restaurant was very busy.

The experience wasn't delicate and finesse, it was robust and full-on, just what you might expect from an urban restaurant.

I highly recommend Pho and Bun. It's a great concept and it works.

Fantastic! My first impression was 'oh dear'.....it looked small, tightly packed tables and the interior design looked like a take-away trying to be a restaurant! I was so wrong. The staff were so friendly and professional creating a great atmosphere. The food was exceptional. Tasty fresh and clean. It's the best Bookatable I have had and beats some of the fine dining fancy places hands down. The fresh prawn spring rolls were delicious. Salt and pepper squid was delightful. The crispy prawn burger was a party in my mouth I will not forget, a mixture of textures and flavours like I have never tasted before. The curry was sublime. I could taste so many layers of the different ingredients that all worked together that turned a simple curry into a memorable sensation. I was also on an equally memorable second date! Thank you.

The restaurant space is filthy! There were beer crates stored under our seats, we can only assume an attempt to hide some of the dirt there under. The downstairs space is miserable and noisy machinery in operation so we asked to be re-seated upstairs. The honey BBQ bao was tough, the 8 hour belly bao on the other hand was very good. The bao is not large and pricy for what you get. The sweet potato fries were very good and the chilli salt and pepper squid excellent. We just couldn't get over how dirty the floor was and the tables and space so unimpressive.

My wife and I loved it. Our waiter was great and really attentive, the food was lovely. We were really impressed with the amount of gluten free. We were especially impressed with the amount of herbs included with each dish which really makes Vietnamese food special.
