Superb, innovative food. Beautifully presented. Attentive friendly staff. The amuse bouche, palate cleanser, and chocolates to finish were touches which were hugely appreciated by my companions and me.

Cool, relaxing atmosphere, attentive friendly service but not overbearing just right. I went with a friend for her birthday yesterday We had am excellent meal and good value as 1 glass of wine and a glass of champagne included. The cod was amazing and the little extras between courses really cleansed the pallette, the iced watermelon was terrific. We had a tour of the kitchen also so truly appreciated the work that went into our meal. It's the second time I have been there this year and I will be back. Thank you

Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. The staff were charming, but there was some lack of information being passed as we had to ask for a bottle of water three times before it was brought to us. They also forgot to give one of our party the cheese course, and failed to get the sommelier to come when requested. However, overall we had a delightful evening. The floor manager made her apologies, and we had a tour of the kitchens. Would definitely recommend dining there.

All exelent from start to finish and good value for £50 each

As Bookatable deals go, this meal was grossly over-priced, trading on a "celebrity" name to justify the £50. We have eaten at all the top hotels and restaurants on Bookatable deals, and this was by far the worst value for money. The portions were of course "arty-farty" but miniscule in size. There was only one type of bread offered - bread with a crust so hard as to be almost inedible and tasting burnt.
The service whilst good, did not have the personal touch as we were served by so many different waiters that we didn't feel anyone in particular was looking after us.
The "tour of the kitchen" afterwards was really a gimmick and an excuse to put the price up. It amounted to now more than a cursory look downstairs at the kitchen.
The general ambience was nice, the music soft, and with 47 covers in that night, we felt very comfortable.
Would I recommend this offer to a friend, or go again? Definitely not!

Warm welcoming staff. All courses tasty and beautifully presented, although fish main rather small portion size. Sommelier good. Sparkling water lacked sparkle! Overall a very pleasant experience

Second visit to Petrus, had the tasting menu last time, this time went for the lunch menu. All the courses were great, love the theatricality of how the food is served. As always delicious amuse-bouche punctuated each course, a delightful cauliflower mousse surrounding some cold pressed cucumber, with almonds and some salmon roe was one, or could be a combination of two. Pate was supreme, I had lamb for my main, it too was delightful. The staff are friendly, informative, I could go on.....
