Excellent - really enjoyed the meal, the gnoochi was amazing. Cheese board was modest - note the seeded crakers were so strong in fennel flavour that the cheese couldn't be tasted! Plainer bread was willingly supplied when i asked for it. Service was attentive but not overbearing.

Overall a lovely dining experience. Staff were attentive but not pushy. Sommelier was very pleasant and helpful. Food was very nicely presented both on the plate and the plates themselves were also very interesting and pleasing. The food was delicious, as we would have expected it to be. We enjoyed the starters, and the main course guinea fowl was a real treat. Also thought the amuse bouche basil dish was excellent.

Our party of 3 adults throughly enjoyed our dinner. The service was very attentive and the attention to detail was excellent.
However one of the main courses was very disappointing it was advertised as Ginea fowl Wellington, it was obviously pre cooked and then sliced and re heated the pastry was flabby and the over all texture too solid as if over cooked. We joked amongst our selfs it would be better described as a posh sausage roll in a puddle of peas. Pre desert and the desert rescued the meal and over all we would say we were very satisfied one other point we were not offered the kitchen visit as promised but the restaurant looked busy so we let it go.

On arrival, service was impeccable and we were made to feel very special. The waiter seemed confused when I ordered both food and wine. He also kept forgetting to top up our wine. On two separate occasions, we were asked if they could take the bottle away and we had to point out that there was still wine in there. We paid the bill and they brought our coats. The package was advertised as including a tour of the kitchen, but this was not offered. As it was the main reason I'd booked the table (as a treat for my husband, who is a chef), I asked if we could have one. We were taken to the kitchen, but were made to feel as if we were a nuisance. My husband tried to ask questions, but she seemed disinterested. Although the food was wonderful, we will not be returning due to the service and are now reluctant to book packages through bookatable.

Loved the whole experience . The canapés,amuse bouche and the predessert were the little extras which made it so special . As with all the Gordon Ramsay restaurants we have dined at, the presentation and quality was excellent . The waiters and waitresses were very professional but friendly. Thank you (please anonymise .....use my initials MR)
