As usual the service and food were excellent - the staff always make sure everyone's dietary requirements are checked (I have a few) and I have never been disappointed with what the kitchen has produced for me. On the Special Menu there were no Entrees that suited me so I was able to select another dish from the normal Vegetarian menu - I had the mushroom pasta which was absolutely delicious. We also did the 'kitchen tour' which was interesting as the restaurant was in full swing upstairs and it was good to see each work station preparing various dishes.

I wanted somewhere special to take my friend who was visiting from Singapore. She had heard of Petrus and was keen to go . Having read some of the negative reviews I was a little apprehensive especially as we booked via Bookatable and some restaurants can be a little snooty under these circumstances. However I have to say we had such a lovely evening at the restaurant, the staff are charming , good humoured and were a delight. Everyone was very helpful and the food extremely tasty and beautiful . I have an Asian palate and usually like my food highly spiced but the food was so good I didn’t miss my chilli kick at all . We also got to do the kitchen tour too which for me was an absolute highlight. I was very conscious that the kitchen team have a lot of work to do which can’t be easy with interruptions and people gawping at them , but the kitchen team were so lovely and happy to answer all our questions whilst efficiently carrying on with all their jobs . The attention to detail they have is phenomenal . We were so impressed at the precision cutting of food items and how detailed all their food preparation is . It really is stunning and makes you appreciate your meal even more . If anyone is daft enough to expect to see Gordon Ramsay there then you may be disappointed but for us it was absolutely amazing and the head chef is much better looking by the way! Thank you to everyone there .

Best sevice. Gnocchi was amazing & I was pleasantly surprised by the pheasant. Wish there was a larger choice & was disappointed with dessert. ( can’t even remember what it was). Loved the experience overall & would definitely recommend to friends. Ps: ( lighting on pillars were too bright in my opinion)

A lovely restaurant in a very up market part of London, Petrus is a very enjoyable place to eat for either business lunches or a romantic lunch for two. The centre of the restaurant is dominated by a circular glass wine cellar and they do have some seriously good wines here - at a price, of course. The food is excellent and I feel that, whatever you order, you'll be happy. Service, too, is excellent without being intrusive. They also smile a lot. Great!
