Great meal and the Bookatable offer was great value. As you would expect a restaurant of this caliber everything was done exceptionally well and the staff were very attentive. The food was also fabulous and I woudl happily return for a treat here.

It was great. The food was lovely, the Service excellent and the visit to the kitchen was really interesting. So sparking clean even in the midst of a lunch service!

Had the £50 offer of 4 courses with kitchen tour that included glass of champagne and glass of wine. From that perspective, excellent value and well worth the visit. Overall the food was very good as what one would expect from such a restaurant. However, there was nothing that hit the outstanding mark. Canapés, Lobster pancake followed by Cornish plaice, cheese rather than desert rounded off by the pre-desert of lemon curd and watermelon ice. While everything was balanced, well executed, well presented it lacked that punch that would elevate the food to the next level. Did seem a little dated. The wine pairings - a very pleasant white as part of offer matched the lobster and plaice very well and an extra glass of a decent minor noir for the cheese hit the mark. So yes fine-dining without a doubt, exceptional-dining - not on this visit. The kitchen tour was interesting but if you really want to get a feel for the hard work from dedicated staff am guessing the chef's table would be a better option.

Amazing food taste and visual experience, we enjoyed every mouthful of the food. Having been to many nice restaurants around the world, Petrus definitely stands out in terms of the quality of the food. Great place to treat your loved ones.
