What a fabulous experience. Cannot fault the front of house, ambience of food. Very high quality. Dined with 2 teenagers who were made to feel special. MD was very patient when answering questions as part of the kitchen tour. The only problem was which dish to choose - I'll have to go back to try the other items!

A beautiful intimate restaurant. The food was really good, the set menu offer was very good value with a good choice. Very friendly staff too.
The offer included a tour of the kitchen but that never materialised !

The restaurant was set out well. I especially loved the centrepiece - a giant wine rack. We had a 6 course meal complete with champagne and wine. The cauliflower mousse, with salmon caviar was as amazing as it sounds! The lamb was cooked to perfection, and the palate cleaner with frozen watermelon and a lemon curd, was delicious ?? The British Raspberry dessert was a great way to finish. Service was excellent, and the staff were all polite and welcoming. All in all, a great night out. I will definitely be back!

Excellent family Lunch for four including two teenagers. Food was delicious. Had the set lunch menu which we all enjoyed and wines chosen by the Sommelier who was spot on and paired well with the food choices. Lovely staff who made the experience even better! Not rushed even though we were there on a booka table offer.

We had the £50 lunch offer including champagne and a glass of wine. Every course was superb, as were the appetisers and pre-dessert. Every mouthful had a wonderful combination of flavours, and even potentially rich courses (foie gras parfait) had balancing textures and tastes. I was surprised to find afterwards this only has one michelin star - on this showing I would expect a second very soon. A little touch I liked on the extensive wine menu - a glass of red and white was available at just £6 (and the red was rather good - I didn't try the white) - not the extortion often encountered at upmarket restaurants. The meal ended with a tour of the kitchens, where we could meet some of the enthusiastic staff who had prepared the various courses. An amazing deal, and we will be back for the full tasting menu in future.
