I booked a free-flowing prosecco afternoon tea for myself and three friends. The décor and location were great and the tea was delicious. Lovely sandwiches and cakes, very good scones, with plenty of cream and jam. But the service was fabulous - very attentive but knew when to leave us alone. I would thoroughly recommend this place.

The food was really lovely and the bubbles were very free flowing. Was a little disappointed that we had to pay for extra sandwiches though as many places offer them for free now.

Lovely food, excellent service provided for our late lunch. Reliable as ever. Only reason it’s not a 5 star review is that we were the only people in the restaurant throughout which lacked atmosphere, but that is of course a very harsh criticism.

A lovely afternoon tea. The sandwiches were lovely and fresh and had nice fillings. The mini quiche was the nicest I’ve ever had. A good selection of cakes and 2 scones per person. The free flowing Prosecco was plentiful. A very nice experience.

I had the bottomless prosecco afternoon tea. Food was good and staff were professional, helpful and very friendly. Only concern was that I was not told that my time for the prosecco was started when I arrived, even though we didn't actually start dining until 15-20 mins later. My friend was a bit late so I understand this can happen but was told the time was started later, when we were both seated. Therefore I did not get the full 90 minutes. I think it would have been nice to be told at the start, this was my only criticism.

We arrived early as the weather was too awful for shopping. We didn't think the hotel was very Christmassy. The tables were too close together and we were seated next to a very loud group of four which spoiled our experience. The sandwich fingers were delicious as was the little warm savoury tartlet. However we were not offered more sandwiches as in other 5 star afternoon teas in London. The cakes were very nice too. We had the bottomless champagne offer but the refills were very slow and we needed to attract the waiters' attention. When we left no-one said goodbye or thanked us for our visit. This was an expensive treat and we did not feel we were valued guests.
