we had afternoon tea which had been a present found it to be very good value had cappucino coffees which was in with the deal there was plenty to eat the sandwiches were perfect and the pastries and scones were to die for, we didnt have to rush although it was very busy.would recommend highly. Will go again probably for lunch next time as the meals looked delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful could not resist buying two vanilla slices to bring home all nicely parcelled up in a lovely box.

We had the afternoon tea for two experience and it was perfect. It arrived at the table just as it was described and it tasted gorgeous. We would definitely go back again. We booked the table just over a week before we visited and we are very glad we did as it was really busy with a queue but we were able to go straight to our booked table. This made it an even better experience.

We went on Sunday with a voucher for afternoon tea for 2 but as 3 of us went, we also asked for an extra afternoon tea for 1. We were served with 3 pots of tea so assumed that 3 afternoon teas would follow. We were sadly disappointed as we had to share the 2 person afternoon tea between 3 of us, as we just thought that the portions had been cut down since the last time we had been. It wasn't til the bill came that we realised, that we had only received a 2 person afternoon tea.. The young lady who took the order did not speak very good English even though we had given her the voucher and had also explained that we needed a single a/noon tea as well. I t was not as good an experience as we usually have on this occasion

Afternoon tea wasn't to my taste unfortunately - food items tiny - restaurant very overcrowded and cramped - overall not worth the money I'm afraid! I would go again though to try the other food just not afternoon tea!

The atmosphere and service was excellent! Food was absolutely amazing as well. Definitely will go here for an afternoon tea or even just a snack and coffee more often! They also have milkshakes!

Booked a table but the staff were not expecting us and we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Begs the question why would I book a table then? The service was average at best and the food wasn't good. Given an incredibly small teapot for two. Had to ask for more hot water so we could squeeze one more tiny drink out of the pot. The finger sandwiches were preprepared and the bread was crunchy like they had been sat in a fridge overnight. Glad to get out to be honest. Will go to Jameson's again next time. At least you get proper service and seriously good food.
