I was really disappointed. This was a birthday treat and although the table has been booked for weeks we were given the choice of sharing a table with a stranger or sitting at a table that was much too small. The teapot was brought out first but obviously was meant for two and not three and although refills were offered this was just boiling water poured on the existing tea. The tea was long gone by the time the food arrived. The sandwiches had obviously been sitting around and were dry and one of the cakes still frozen. Definitely not worth the £37.50 we paid.

Worse Afternoon Tea I have ever experienced. Poor service, constantly had to ask for things which were missing from order, i.e. no milk with tea, quiches missing, no jams for scones. 4 of us were seated at a small round table with no room for all the food and drink. At no time did the staff apologise.

We enjoyed our tea. Very pleasant waitress and the food was good. The restaurant is in a very old building and feels rather cramped. It's obviously very popular and many potential customers were turned away. Fortunately it wasn't very crowded when we turned up at 4pm but I don't think that a table had been reserved for us. We were just lucky that there was a free tablwe for us at the time.

Booked for the afternoon tea offer, £12.50 per person, to treat myself as have never had a real afternoon tea. It was my first visit to this patisserie and very impressed with the selection, presentation, and amount of food. Enough finger sandwiches, scones, and mini patisserie cakes for two. They even automatically removed a cafe table from beside us so that it was not too cramped, as we had a huge cake stand on the table! Great meal and French vibe, and I would go back for the same, or maybe even a new meal, again any day. Clearly others were as keen as us, judging by the queue stretching out of the door when we left!
