The restaurant was shabby and in need of refurbishment. The staff were lovely. The cakes were squashed and looked like they had been frozen

Service and afternoon tea was really good. It was my daughter birthday and she was presented with a bun and candle that she was amazed by. Thank you

Myself and 3 friends went for afternoon tea. The food was outstanding. The tiny quiches were warm and the scones too. Plenty of selection of cakes and unlimited drinks ??

The restaurant itself was nice and the staff friendly, but i have to say the afternoon tea was very disappointing. The sandwiches lacked filling and flavour as did the mini quiche, which had obviously just been heated up in the microwave as the pastry was soggy and limp. Even the cakes left a lot to be desired. The only thing i enjoyed eating were the scones. I don't consider myself a foodie by any means but i've had a fair few afternoon tea's and i have to say this one was the least enjoyable i've had so far. It's safe to say i won't be having afternoon tea at Patisserie Valerie again. I would rather pay the extra few pounds and go elsewhere.

Thought that it would be more of a restaurant area than a small cafe, disappointed in the lack of seating areas, we had 2 tables pushed together one table being incredibly wonky. Food was nice, would of been good to have 2 of each cake so you wouldn't have to split then between each other but other than that the scones and sandwiches were lovely.
