Afternoon tea was delicious & as much tea or coffee as you wanted was a bonus. A great experience would definitely go again.

The afternoon tea was very well presented, the food was delicious and very filling. It wasn't a problem to change the fruit scones to plain scones. We could also have as many refills as we wanted of tea or any coffee which made it very good value for money. The staff were all friendly and very welcoming, especially Youssef who's lovely personality and excellent customer service in which nothing was too much trouble made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Too noisy and cramped .. Food not great

the food was delicious and very well presented with the addition of free refills on your tea or coffee. The only reservation was that the table for two was small and felt cramped when the tiered cake stand was delivered.
The staff were very attentive and well groomed, and whilst we were there the tables emptied and refilled with hardly a moment between, but we never felt hurried.

Bit disappointed with the service at the start of our Afternoon Tea. When we arrived, the server didn't seem that interested at all. Told us to sit down and pointed to our table and left us to it for a while before taking our drinks order. When the sandwiches and cakes arrived, we weren't told what any of the cakes or sandwiches were so I mentioned about the allergies that 2 of us had (which had been noted when booking). The notes had obviously been ignored and the plates were taken away so she could speak to the chef. Came back down with the plates and we were told that all they could do was remove the quiche as that had some of the items in that I was allergic to. I said that others in our party could still have the quiches so could we have some extra sandwiches instead seeing as they hadn't made any allowances for the allergies. They did bring us another plate of sandwiches but there wasn't any apology or allowance made for allergies so I'm not even sure why the form even asked us to make those notes as they clearly don't take any notice. The fact that I had to ask for quiches for the rest of the party and also the extra sandwiches which I shouldn't have had to do - that should really have been offered as a matter of course and the server should tell you what each of the items are anyway. I've had many afternoon teas and never had one whereby they didn't tell you what the items are, especially whereby allergies are known. We were checked on quite a few times during the afternoon tea and they did bring us extra tea. However, when we came to the end of our Tea, it was a job to get hold of a server to pay and get our box of macarons! I left feeling a bit disappointed with the service so I'm unlikely to go there again.

Lovely afternoon tea, the staff could be a little better, when i asked a few questions rather than answering he kept saying darling its in the menu

A good afternoon tea. It was a bit noisy and hard to chat at times. Most of the food was fine but the scones were disappointing. They were over baked and dry. The jam selection was raspberry, apricot, honey and marmalade. I would have expected strawberry and not honey or marmalade. Overall we enjoyed it. The staff were very good, attentive and professional.

We were greeted on arrival and taken to a booth. Tea of our two choices was delivered quite quickly but the food took a little while. The sandwiches and patisserie items were absolutely first class and very much enjoyed, but the scones were absolutely terrible - overlooked and hard. My friend did ask if two could be replaced as they were not good and he went to the kitchen and brought back one larger scone explaining that the smaller ones were the ones that came with the set afternoon tea! That would have been fine but It too was overlooked and hard! I jokingly said to our waiter that the FRENCH items were wonderful, and the English couldn't do those as beautifully, but obviously the French couldn't cook ENGLISH scones. He laughingly said " you are probably right". I mentioned the macaron gift that came with the afternoon tea and they didn't seem to know anything about it. However we were rather condescendingly told "you can have six", which we were given when we paid the bill. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would visit again but probably just for tea and cake. Would recommend with caution about the scones! Lol
