The afternoon tea I booked in September was for 6 on an ordinary not festive menu I further e-mailed and on 9th December phoned the rose street premises to ensure certain requests would be honoured. We arrived there yesterday at 2.50pm and my booking was not known about my requests were not logged and it was obvious I had wasted my time. Luckily I had printed off all emails with booking references requests and confirmation of the type of afternoon tea and price. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful and a couple were quite abrupt and dismissive which put us off at Bill paying time when we were charged £84 instead of £75 the difference between ordinary afternoon tea and festive. We did enjoy the range of goodies given but the dampener at payment time so angered us we felt we wouldn't go back and I felt awful as my friends and I were making this a day out treat and going to mamma mia and I had pre booked everything with confirmation in hand so there should have been no hiccups. So so unhappy about the ordeal even though we did get it sorted eventually.

Terrific little treasure to find. Afternoon High Tea was fabulous. Not one thing served that wasn't delectable.

Afternoon tea was delicious. Didn't look like a lot, but was very filling. The staff were very helpful too

Very disappointing as staff weren't going to honour my gift card until my husband insisted on the manageress phoning her head office. We did get our afternoon tea eventually but by then we were too upset and embarrassed to enjoy it!
