Excellent service, ambience good. Food lovely, sandwich fillings delicious, bread a bit dry though.

My sister and I booked afternoon tea for our mother for Mother's Day it was it was was nice but the selection of cakes instead of being three of each of the cakes there were two so one of us didn't have some of the selection of cakes as we paid £37.50 for three afternoon teas so there for we should have got the same for each one I would recommend you to a friend but to say to them just make shore you have the right amount.

I booked to celebrate my mothers birthday. We had the afternoon tea £25.00 , we were disappointed with the quality of everything.
The room was dark and the tables dirty, needed wiping before we ate.
The sandwiches were tiny and slightly dry around the edges like they'd been left out for a while.
The scones were tiny, and the cakes looked like they came from the freezer cabinet in Iceland !!! .
We left as soon as we could and really won't be returning to patisserie valerie in the future very disappointing.

Disappointing. Sandwiches a little dry, scones over dry too. Service very rushed. We were not asked what tea we wanted and given English breakfast. I then asked for Earl Grey with skimmed milk and fresh water for my friends tea. Her tea tray was whipped away with half a cup of tea. She likes her tea well brewed so was annoyed it was taken. No asking involved. It was not a relaxing experience because of the service. I would not do it again when there are so many places on offer. A shame.

The staff were fantastic, the afternoon tea was ok. Local hotel which are far grander were offering a much better package on the day we visited.
The premises was tired looking and small. Which was dissappointing for Bath.
I had previously visited Edinburgh store and it all seemed so much more polished. I feel your not just paying for afternoon tea but the experience, especially as this was a gift for my Mum and her friends.

Excellent service and delicious afternoon tea. Very fresh sandwiches, warm scones, cakes and pastries.
I have had many afternoon teas in 5* hotels ( as treats!) and patisserie Valerie quality of food was up there with the best.
The cafe is very basic and not as relaxing as a hotel Lounge! But certainly was delicious
