Excellent experience. We ordered the pink burger with triple cooked chips and mushrooms and it was very tasty. The rose wine was excellent nicest wine we have had all weekend. The staff were very attentive and made the whole experience very enjoyable.

Had a lovely Saturday afternoon lunch. Food was delicious, staff helpful and friendly. The steak and ale pudding deserves a mention along with the chunky chips! Nice atmosphere in a great spot overlooking St Paul’s.

The bar area seems smaller than it appears of the television, and although not busy, we had to stand at the bar due to lack of seats. The food was served quickly, and was very tasty, the waiting crew were many and very attentive. As we were leaving I noticed the restaurant was filling up so maybe we were lucky in hat we caught them at a quiet time. There was just an ambiance (God I hate it when that word appears in a review) of quality, from the phone call 2 cays before to confirm the booking, the staff`s appearance, the quality of the food and that we were not constantly interrupted to try and sell us more wine, food etc. Overall a very pleasant experience, and one I would happily repeat. My other hate in reviews is giving something 5 stars, but on this occasion, I do so willingly.

Came here for my boyfriend’s 30th Birthday, fair to say it was a lovely experience from start to finish. Waiter service was excellent, very good customer service. We tried oysters for the first time and both enjoyed the Chop House Burger but looking about the steaks looked amazing so maybe next time we might have that. Really nice to have visited “The First Dates Resturant”!
