Named a Restaurant of the Year in 2012, Parsons Restaurant is one of Essex’s finest. Offering an innovative take on British fine dining, head chef Ade has trained under British greats, Gordon Ramsay and Marcus Wareing.

Showcasing impeccable presentation and deep, bold flavour combinations, the Parsons menu offers a redefining of British fine dining cuisine. Sample flavours like roast guinea fowl with truffle rosti and pickled mushrooms, or wild sea bass with polenta and pesto shrimps. A creative streak for dessert includes Parsons’ cinnamon sponge with poached pineapples, or marble-effect Baileys & walnut cheesecake.

A spotless dining room at Parsons in Waltham Abbey offers a chic backdrop for enjoying the elaborate dishes, while a tranquil terrace offers a Mediterranean-style vibe during summer.

An offshoot of the critically-acclaimed Lock Dining Room in North London, Parsons Restaurant brings an exciting and refined culinary concept to Essex. Parsons sits on the edge of the sprawling greenery of Waltham Abbey Woods.

Last minute booking for lunch - literally that morning. We were welcomed and shown to a nice table. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was nicely presented and tasty. It was just a pity that some of the dishes on the lunch menu were not available.

I had Easter lunch at Parsons and the food was top notch. The french onion soup was delicious as was the turkey Roast and Banoffee pies. It was more than ample servings and also very attentive service. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly even though the restaurant was very busy. I'd definitely go back and recommend you to give it a go.

My wife and I hosted an Easter Sunday Family Lunch with some members travelling from Coventry to join other members from the London area. My intial disappointment was that the dessert course, if required, had to be ordered at the same time as the starters and main course. A number of us ordered the French onion soup and were disappointed to find it was served with toast topped with blue cheese. We felt more options could have been offered here as not everyone eats blue cheese. My biggest disappointment however was to have the main course served in soup bowls rather than on a plate. This is a new one on me and one I do not intend to repeat anytime soon. I also felt the service was less than attentive with no one enquiring if everything was alright with the meal, or if we needed anthing like dressings etc. Something one would expect as normal from a much less expensive restaurant! I brought two clients who had not dined at Parsons for lunch and they thought the service and food was excellent, we couldn't fault any thing. It definitely is worth a try.
