Although we knew it was going to be a buffet style tea, we found that the most disappointing aspect of the tea. There was nothing particularly exciting or innovative on the table - tasty treats but nothing wow. The selection of teas was run of the mill, none of the exciting variations you would expect at a venue like the Oyster Box. The chairs were incredibly uncomfortable in relation to the tables - we couldn't sit at the table properly.

Everything was excellent.. we loved it. Our service was great... lots of attention to detail! Our favourite dishes were the samoosas, salmon and caper berry open sandwiches, fudge, eclairs... it is very difficult to choose. Thank you for a memorable afternoon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our High tea. We particularly loved the chicken mayo with almonds, haddock pate, strawberry cake & the little dark choc / coffee biscuits. It was all delicious, fresh and beautifully displayed. The little boxes of skabenga tea was a lovely surprise!

A warm welcome from staff at the gate, right through to the door porters, the Palm Court Host, the waiter (Vassie). A great variety of sweet & savoury. Attentive service. A wonderful experience.

It was fabulous experience - it was everything that we thought it would be and more. The food was lovely - just sad was too full to try the cheese-cake.

Great service and all-round experience for the high tea. However, the variety of foods has dropped slightly since my last high tea (probably in 2012). But i still had a great time!

We had High Tea on 13 June and it was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food outstanding. WE also enjoyed the piano in the back ground.

Loved every minute of it, the choc ecliars were the best followed by the chicken sandwiches and the macoroons!! The service was the best and nothing was too much trouble for our hostess but she was never intrusive. The afternoon flew by. The live piano music was the cherry on the top.
