I had not been to this hotel for afternoon tea for some years and knew it had been remodeled, I was pleased to see the restaurant was still very nice. We had a good table near the harpist. the waitress's although very busy, took time to explain the menu. We enjoyed the sandwiches especially tuna and the gammon not so keen on the wraps, nothing wrong with filling just not a wrap lover! The scones were good as were the preserves. the cakes were exquisite, beautiful colors and flavors, looked too nice to eat! Good choice of teas.

This was my second time for tea at the Park Lane. I was very disappointed compared to my first visit. The level of service has significantly dropped. The staff was genuinely trying to be attentive, but there were too many guests and not enough staff members. It was a very underwhelming experience.

The scones and sweets were outstanding. The tea choices were brilliant.

Great experience! Only add £8 you can get unlimited champagne. The only problem is that the table is small, only fit for 2 people. There is not enough room to put just 4 teapots on the table.
