We were booked in for the free flowing prosecco afternoon tea - our waitress seemed to forget us - but i anaged to attracg the attention of another. Also i said it was my inlaws diamond anniversary & they were not even congratualated. The food was good - my fav was the pistachio cake & fruit scone. It shows the cakes delivered on a hatbox lid - this isnt the case.

The Pigale sparkling wine was undrinkable. We managed a sip each from the first bottle which was flat, a more recently opened bottle was brought which had a bit more fizz but had the same awful taste. We were asked our opinion at the end and explained how awful we felt the bubbles were and we couldnt drink it but were still charged the extra for it. Sandwich bread chewy and tasteless. Very little sandwich filling. Offering pleasant bubbles and making a decent sandwich shouldn't be difficult. Individual seats uncomfortable and too low. Service ok. Place was clean.

From the moment we arrived, we had a wonderful experience. Service was attentive, the afternoon tea was sublime. We requested extra sandwiches which was accepted free of charge. Our glasses were constantly topped up, as we had free flowing prosecco. A wonderful experience to which we shall return. 5 ?

This is my third visit this year. nice surroundings. I think a change of cake selection at afternoon tea would be good. the little hats look great but don't have a great deal of flavor.

Afternoon tea was good, but not as nice as previous visits. No truffle egg wraps, just egg and cress sandwiches.

Quite chaotic. Lots of waiters running around but the service slow. Hit the back of our chairs various times
