    The finger sandwiches were very fresh. When we booked on line we requested 'no egg sandwiches'. Although the Sheraton had confirmed this on their confirmation, we still had our doubts!!! But when we arrived all the staff were aware of our request, 10 out of 10. The scones and pastries were eexcellent. The champagne was 'free flowing', which was part of the afternoon tea package we had booked. The staff were very good and attentive without being over-bearing. The Lady playing the harp was wonderful, which made for a more relaxing experience and added to the ambiance. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at the Sheraton, a truly beautiful hotel,

    We have been here before for the same event.
    So had also compared our to earlier vist.
    The atmosphere is amazing and having an amazingly proficient hape player sitting is brilliant.
    The waiter we had was extremely friendly and professional.
    More nice was it, when a card magician came down to our table and showed a few tricks, was also very good, and completed the nice experience.
    The and champagne were also of good quality.
    On the negative side;
    I ordered though AfternoonTea.co.uk, and on this offer: 25% off Birdcage Afternoon tea.
    However on some how, we stilled payed more that 100GBP for two, which was way over the normal price, but somehow the waiter sold us some extra supplements.
    The cakes on the top shelf were really delicious, but the scones war was dry and not fresh, like the sandwiches were extremely dry, boring and poorly formulated in flavour.
    Anyway an nice experience overall.

    Very enjoyable experience and service very good. Only thing disconcerting is that people walking by to go to the hotel reception.

    I have visited the Sheraton Hotel before and was aware of its elegance. The setting is beautiful and their was a harpist playing delightful music. The list of available teas was extensive- our favourite was the fig and rose which was delicious. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful

    Service very slow and the amount of food served was not value for money

    On the whole, we enjoyed our afternoon tea - the sandwiches and pastries had interesting flavours and it was good to have a delicious English sparkling wine for a change! However, our experience was marred by inattentive service, which means it was not as relaxing an afternoon as it should have been (having to ask for things more than once and having to wait a long time for any service isn't ideal) and it certainly initially didn't feel like a premium or free flowing afternoon tea. Having said that, we did let the staff know we weren't very happy and they did substantially improve the level of service for roughly the second half of our visit so we appreciated that - it's just a shame that level of care for customers wasn't automatic. On that basis, whilst in the end we did leave satisfied, we probably wouldn't return because there are much more consistent options around.

    This was a wonderful experience for us from beginning to end. The dining room/bar is extremely beautiful. There was a wonderful ambience which was enhanced by the harpist. The staff were welcoming, particular about doing things correctly, but friendly. We had High Tea and the food was wonderful, done to a very high standard. we had a wonderful choice of teas. I cannot fecommend the Sheridanmore highly.
