Restaurant description

Nestled in a quaint, authentic setting overlooking the iconic Piazza, Palm Court Brasserie Covent Garden serves sublime modern European cuisine. Lovingly crafted in a 1920s art nouveau style, the dining room boasts effortless Parisian chic.

Offering an eclectic range of cuisine in the heart of cosmopolitan Covent Garden, the Palm Court Brasserie menu presents classic French dishes alongside sumptuous pan-Mediterranean choices. The ever-popular, cleansing taste of moules mariniere is offset by a rich and spicy Moroccan casserole with cous cous and flaked almonds.

As well as fun and fruity cocktails, Palm Court Brasserie restaurant presents a varied yet selective wine list, ranging from crisp whites to complex, aromatic reds. The tempting dessert menu lures those with a sweet tooth, with classic crème brulee and Valrhona chocolate tart with Cointreau mousse offering rich, decadent flavours.

In a vibrant area of London, Palm Court Brasserie is nestled just 3 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

Excellent. We booked afternoon tea with free flow Prosecco, and it genuinely was free flow. The food was good and the service superb. I would definitely choose this again for afternoon tea above 5 star hotels at triple the price.

Food always good, whatever one chose. 'Specials' menu means that a Lovely meal can be enjoyed without breaking the bank.

I and my wife + 2 friends arrived for our 18:30 booking;were told had to wait; actually taken to our table at 18:40; the bar area (for waiting) was covered in glass's waiting to be washed; no place to lean. The place was heaving and our table was at the rear of the restaurant; and very, very noisy. As I have a sound meter app on my smartphone I measured noise over a ten minute period and the average reading was in excess of 90dB; frankly quite painful and certainly breaking noise at work regs!! The £28.95 bottle of wine was below expectations; the 2 x Tuna were good, the steak frites; not good, the steak was gristely and having asked for rare/medium, was in fact medium so all in all not a good evening, thus very disappointing especially as it was my wife's birthday. I should also add that a service charge of £15:47 was added to my bill and although Enza S, did her job, it was no more than perfunctory.

Food was nice though sparse with no vegetables to speak of. Food served was cold Table we were given (I think table 21) was like Clapham junction with waiters continually walking past you on way to serving station.

Great food but very busy and noisy. Otherwise it was a great place to eat and good service.

Had a 3 course set menu with a champagne cocktail for £25. Food was nice, a little bit dated in appearance but it was tasty. Waiter was rude and service was very very slow. The waiter seemed annoyed that we didn’t want to order a bottle of wine (my friend was pregnant) and wanted to take starters, mains and desert order all at the same time. Also messed up my order, serving me the wrong kind of ice cream. Probably won’t be returning.
