Restaurant description

Nestled in a quaint, authentic setting overlooking the iconic Piazza, Palm Court Brasserie Covent Garden serves sublime modern European cuisine. Lovingly crafted in a 1920s art nouveau style, the dining room boasts effortless Parisian chic.

Offering an eclectic range of cuisine in the heart of cosmopolitan Covent Garden, the Palm Court Brasserie menu presents classic French dishes alongside sumptuous pan-Mediterranean choices. The ever-popular, cleansing taste of moules mariniere is offset by a rich and spicy Moroccan casserole with cous cous and flaked almonds.

As well as fun and fruity cocktails, Palm Court Brasserie restaurant presents a varied yet selective wine list, ranging from crisp whites to complex, aromatic reds. The tempting dessert menu lures those with a sweet tooth, with classic crème brulee and Valrhona chocolate tart with Cointreau mousse offering rich, decadent flavours.

In a vibrant area of London, Palm Court Brasserie is nestled just 3 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

The Palm Court Brasserie was fantastic in terms of ambience, value for money and customer service. We ate there for dinner as part of their Star Deal and were really pleased with the choices and quality of the food offered. The ambience was busy but welcoming and the staff were friendly, accommodating and efficient. Would thoroughly recommend!

We booked the Star Deal that was £22 for a champagne cocktail and 3 courses. Very good value but no alternative was offered to the allergy afflicted non-champagne drinker so we had to pay for a g&t. All the food was great, with one exception. The sweet potato rosti that came with the duck confit was simply not a rosti but a pile of grated sweet potato. What a missed opportunity for a crispy salty crust on the outside and soft sweet potato on the inside. I am not exaggerating, it was just a pile of grated sweet potato. Not a happy experience!

The food was okay, we ate as part of a Bookable table deal - 3 courses and a champagne cocktail for £22. The menu options were limited but sufficient. The potato rosti was consistently burnt (black) on advising the server he scrutinised the clearly blackened remains and said sorry. No alternatives or offers of compensation. Overall the service was lacking, no enquiries as to satisfaction during the main course and an overalls excessive wait for two cold desserts. Had 12.5% service not been included in the bill a tip would not have been given.
