Nestled in a quaint, authentic setting overlooking the iconic Piazza, Palm Court Brasserie Covent Garden serves sublime modern European cuisine. Lovingly crafted in a 1920s art nouveau style, the dining room boasts effortless Parisian chic.
Offering an eclectic range of cuisine in the heart of cosmopolitan Covent Garden, the Palm Court Brasserie menu presents classic French dishes alongside sumptuous pan-Mediterranean choices. The ever-popular, cleansing taste of moules mariniere is offset by a rich and spicy Moroccan casserole with cous cous and flaked almonds.
As well as fun and fruity cocktails, Palm Court Brasserie restaurant presents a varied yet selective wine list, ranging from crisp whites to complex, aromatic reds. The tempting dessert menu lures those with a sweet tooth, with classic crème brulee and Valrhona chocolate tart with Cointreau mousse offering rich, decadent flavours.
In a vibrant area of London, Palm Court Brasserie is nestled just 3 minutes’ walk from Covent Garden Tube Station.

Welcoming staff who were happy to cater to our needs (we were a group of 11). Service and quality of the food and portion size was excellent. We have ate here several times choosing the offer menus and have always been pleased with everything. The only negative was when paying separately for the drinks service charge was expected on each bill.

A return visit on Saturday 30th December to one of my favourite London restaurants was almost ruined. I booked a table for 6 at 6pm for my family via Bookatable. I received the usual confirmation email plus a reminder on the day. However upon arrival the reservation had failed to be registered on the restaurant’s booking system and a table was unavailable.
As staff checked my confirmation email and their system, a party of 4 arrived and the same problem was discovered. One of that party reacted badly to the situation. The lady showed no appreciation at that stage that the fault did not lie with the staff. Diplomacy and professionalism at Palm Court Brasserie - notably the Assistant Manager, Marco Cimini, and another gentleman avoided the scene developing further.
Meanwhile more customers arrived. We were crammed into the small front of house area and spilt over into the dining area. We were forced to stand very close to tables where people were dining.
The party of 4 were eventually found a table. I waited inside the restaurant while staff did their best to clear, rearrange and lay tables. My family chose to wait outside [in cold weather] to give diners at nearby tables privacy and to clear the entrance and allow space for people wanting to get coats from the rack. It took 30 minutes or more for us to be seated.
The food, wine, cocktails, service and atmosphere were very good. The set menu was value for money with a variety of choices, including vegetarian. I’d particularly recommend the wild mushroom soup and boeuf bourguignon. I must congratulate the staff for maintaining the restaurant’s standards on what must have been one of the busiest evenings of the year - despite not expecting us!
I trust the system has - or will be - reviewed in light of this incident and both customers and restaurant staff can avoid our awkward experience in future.

Me and my boyfriend had a lovely meal before going to the theatre. The food, service, and atmosphere was all wonderful and made it a great evening.
