Good atmosphere, average food, very slow and unattentive service. Venue feels more suitable for afternoon tea, rather than dinner... Tables are very low and not comfortable to have the dinner at. Came to celebrate friends birthday. When greeted we were asked if we wanted to put flowers away that my friend was given as a gift. Once we've finished the dinner and once we've collected our coats and flowers, we've realized that flowers were left dry with no water for over 3hrs... I'd expect some common sense from staff without having to tell them "make sure flowers go into a glass with water". Overall very average dinner, wouldn't recommend or return.

My companion and I chose to celebrate our birthdays at the Palm Court. The service was excellent and the food amazing. Each dish was not only beautifully presented but it tasted as good as it looked. Every detail was catered for including a surprise extra in the form of an exquisite birthday desert.

Fantastic cocktails and service in the hotel bar. Really good food and wine in the restaurant - unfortunately the service was very disappointing. Fx oil for the bread was presented but the bread arrived with the starter. Wine glasses were put on the table, main course served but we had to ask for our wine. It would have been an outstanding dining experience if the service was of the same high quality as cocktail, food & wine

We were given a warm welcome here and the rest of the evening did not disappoint. A beautiful restaurant. Superb food. Wonderful service. And a great cocktail included in the £35 price of the 3 courses. Exceptional value and the main course lamb was a generous portion with the meat tasty and tender. We were delighted with it all.
