Wonderfully sumptuous and elegant, attentive yet unobtrusive staff, delicious food beautifully presented - we spent a couple of relaxing hours away from the madness of Christmas!

Afternoon tea was good

It was nice however not as I expected. Like the room was without any windows and no palms. The cakes were too sweet for our taste. The scones and sendwiches were tasty. TAll in all not really worth the price. Here was a problem with the payment and now I´m waiting for it to be fixed. There's an extra charge on my account.

Met a friend during a stay in London. Easy to find the hotel and staff warm and friendly approachable and welcoming. We had afternoon tea and neither of us have huge appetites. We enjoyed a glass of fizz then a lemon posset shot glass of delight followed by three finger sandwiches and a tiny brioche bun then one scone and shared five petit cakes Total cost £132 for two which I found to be excessive even for London. For this reason I would not recommend it to any friends as I found it just too over priced for the experience, delightful as the hotel is at Langhams.

We've been regularly visiting the Palm Court for the afternoon tea during the past 4 years. It used to enchant us a lot but I may say, with regret, that this might have been our last visit. The food is lovely, the tea options are quite good and the general ambience very pleasant - even though the service may have seen better days. Thus it may have turned into a pricey offering considering other options one can enjoy in London.

The Langham is like walking into the thirties with it's ethereal ambience. The food was beautiful as it was delicious and the champagne in the offer was exquisite. I would definitely recommend it just for the experience.
