Restaurant description

The sister restaurant of highly acclaimed London restaurants Sardine and Rotorino, Palatino presents honest Italian cuisine in an edgy, industrial-style setting. There is an open kitchen for prime views of the chefs in action, and striking sunshine-yellow dining booths.

Compiled by acclaimed proprietor Stevie Parle, the Palatino menu is a masterclass in bold and flavoursome, yet simple Italian dining. Served alongside silky homemade pasta, enjoy the juicy onglet, chicken & pistachio meatballs, hunter-style game, or lobster with fennel & chilli. For dessert at Palatino in restaurant in London indulge in chocolate & hazelnut tartuffi, or zingy lemon, almond & ricotta cake.

Offsetting the exposed pipes, concrete and sharp angles in the dining room, the Palatino kitchen keeps things rustic with its wood burner, stone oven and ever-rolling pasta machine. Creative house cocktails are also served at the bar.

In the heart of London’s original ‘Little Italy’, Palatino in Clerkenwell is a 10-minute walk from Old Street Station.

We took friends here and had a really lovely time despite the very noisy, large table in the center. Food is fantastic.

Great food and wine, even for a fussy vegetarian. Really comfortable booth, perfect for 6.

This is a wonderful place to eat - really good food, lovely staff, and a very welcoming environment. We come back time and again, which is a testament in itself.

Had the £20 dinner deal and it was perfect. Looked limited on the menu but actually the dishes gave you a great overview of the kind of food you could get a la carte. Fantastic flavours and the chocolate tart was insanely good. Great service, lovely atmosphere, would return!

This was a very cheap offer of 3 courses + a cocktail for £20. The courgette starter was pleasant if not remarkable. Both the pasta and the chicken mains were very good and so was the apricot with rosemary tart. Overall it was excellent value for money and a pleasant evening for 2.

Restaurant in the middle of nowhere, had a good deal but they added service charge, wine pricey and waitress couldn t pour it without drops everywhere. Poor service, poor location...
