Booked for afternoon tea to celebrate my 60 th birthday. Lovely mixture of savoury &sweet. Liked how they were brought separately, not all together. Very friendly staff, loved the candle put in the scone!
Not as keen on the 12&half% charge automatically added to the bill as never sure if the staff actually get this. Prefer to do this myself so next time I will remember to ask for the bill minus this .

A total disaster! First weekend without our children for 18 months and this was a celebration dinner for birthdays, wedding anniversary and a work promotion.
This was our 3rd visit to the OXO Tower and previously we had not had a problem.
Starter was pan fried scallops and black pudding to share; delicious.
Main was Chateaubriand which looked cooked as asked but was just luke warm. Celeriac and herb crusted mushrooms were similar and all on a cold plate, but pot of truffle dusted mac and cheese piping hot. Sent back and asked to reheat but for whatever reason duty manager came back with the option of another Chateaubriand in 45 minutes time or another main. We were also told food had just come from the pass and they never had this problem before ( see trip advisor for the reality). We opted for fillet steak and Iberico pork loin; these arrived in 11 minutes!
Plate roasting hot, pork luke warm, over cooked and dry. Steak adequate which my wife ate as she was very hungry at this point. Pork sent back and I gave up when offered a 3rd dish after 2 failures to deliver a properly cooked plate of food.
All food was taken off our bill but the evening was ruined.
The matter was poorly handled as we had no idea what was being done from a bill perspective until it was presented.
At our local Côte 2 weeks before a mistake was made, an immediate apology accompanied by a glass of champagne and the statement your main will be deducted from the bill. Late main delivered in quick time and no issues.
OXO management need to conduct regular complaint handling training and kitchen performance needs to be reviewed.
We will not be returning as the the risk of disappointment given how much the meal would cost is not value for money.

The food, service, view and ambiance were excellent. I had the crab starter, followed by the steak which were excellent. The service was excellent without being over bearing.
