Restaurant description

An iconic landmark on the South Bank skyline, OXO Tower Restaurant offers contemporary dining from its modern British menu. Relax in the OXO Restaurant over lunch or dinner whilst taking in the unparalleled views of St Paul’s and the City of London. With a seasonal menu created by Head Chef Jeremy Bloor, an extensive wine list and an enviable terrace, this is the perfect place to celebrate, whatever the occasion.

Using only the finest ingredients, the OXO Tower Restaurant offers guests the opportunity to savour some of the best seasonal British produce on offer. Start with deep-fried courgette flower with goats’ curd or cured duck with melon and sour cream before tucking into dry-aged beef fillet with fresh truffles or Isle of Skye langoustines with fennel curd and blood orange jellies.

The extensive wine list, handpicked by Head Sommelier Diego Muntoni, offers guests a vast choice of wines, including some that are rarely available in London. For added theatre, guests can also choose to order from the OXO martini trolley and watch as the expert bar team mix the perfect martini cocktail at your table.

For a truly British experience, treat yourself to an afternoon tea in the Restaurant and indulge in a selection of finger sandwiches, savoury bites and homemade scones with a cup of perfectly-brewed tea with tea leaves grown on the Tregothnan estate in Cornwall.

OXO Tower Restaurant in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

The service was really good. You feel that they care for you as a guest and want to make sure you are treated with the most respect. The food was overall really good but I found there was not as much choice on the menu as I saw online. I had a good portion of crab and lamb for the dishes I ordered but there was a lack of mushroom of gnocchi and my partner who took the risotto ball and the fish though his portions were small compare to mine. I had the refreshing kayle salad as a side, but more variety would have been nice for the sides.A big plus was the wine list.

We really enjoyed our afternoon tea at the Oxo Tower. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We were treating our daughter as part of her 21st birthday celebrations and she couldn't have enjoyed the occasion more. Thank you very much to everyone involved.

Great service, loved the food and especially loved the attention to detail with all the dishes! The "happy anniversary" plate at the end of the meal was the cherry on the top. Loved it! Highly recommended.
