Restaurant description

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes that champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as seared scallops, fingerling potatoes and Parma ham crisp or sea bass with cuttlefish and butter bean stew and aioli. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.

Just a stone's throw from some of London's most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, 'Not Afternoon Tea' is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes coriander and lime leaf chocolate mousse and chocolate and rose tart with candied flowers.

Find the OXO Tower down the riverside from the iconic London Eye. OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Please request an outdoor table using the ‘special request’ field when booking. Note that although the restaurant will do their best to accommodate the request, an outdoor table may not be available.

My cocktail was very diluted. Too much ice and can't really taste the alcohol. Starter and dessert were tastefull . But main course was very bland. Service was friendly and good. Request for window seating was honoured. Nice touch to add happy birthday script to my husband's dessert plate .

We had an excellent meal and the staff were helpful and more than happy to accommodate a member of the party who is coeliac.

Very nice time at Oxo tower! Beautiful setup inside, would've preferred to be by a window but still had a nice view. Service was very attentive and quick, and food was very very tasty! There was also a very lovely singer playing right next to us, which really made a nice vibe. And as an extra nice touch, the staff had written "happy anniversary" on our desserts, as they had asked if the booking was for a special occasion, which was very very sweet & thoughtful touch! The only negative thing I have to say, which was surprising for this kind of premiumly priced restaurant, is that i did find a small hair in my main course. I don't like to kick off about small things, so didn't mention it, although I'm sure they would've dealt with it perfectly ??
