Restaurant description

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as slow-cooked duck leg, green bean salad and shallot dressing or sea bass with heritage potatoes, wild garlic and pickled salsify. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.

Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and the Brasserie even offers a Theatre Not Afternoon Tea, which is a theatrical experience consisting of themed cakes and cocktails. Guests can also enjoy the seasonal Not Afternoon Tea menu, which has several delicious plates to choose from, all paired with a cocktail.

OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Please request an outdoor table using the ‘special request’ field when booking. Note that although the restaurant will do their best to accommodate the request, an outdoor table may not be available.

A good dining experience after having to move table due to adjoin table being rowdy. The food was excellent and the attention to detail of the service very good.

The Oxo Tower is the most beautiful restaurant with stunning views across London! It is expensive, so being able to go there on the restaurant festival deal made a huge difference and was fantastic value. The peanut butter chocolate brownie was to die for. Service was efficient, but we didn't feel too rushed. Booking was very easy. We had the most wonderful, romantic evening!

Not that happy, left a while before we got drinks so service not great. Then moved to a better table, but an argument between 2 staff members which we actually challenged the waiter re not appropriate. However following this staff attentive, but food not amazing. Had the ravioli and mushroom dish, more mushrooms than ravioli very disappointing and hugely over priced.

We had a fantastic evening. Loved sitting on the terrace pre meal enjoying the lights of London reflected in the Thames. All the courses were full of flavour. We also loved the guitarist and beautiful singer, adding to the ambience.
