Restaurant description

Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes that champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as seared scallops, fingerling potatoes and Parma ham crisp or sea bass with cuttlefish and butter bean stew and aioli. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.

Just a stone's throw from some of London's most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, 'Not Afternoon Tea' is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes coriander and lime leaf chocolate mousse and chocolate and rose tart with candied flowers.

Find the OXO Tower down the riverside from the iconic London Eye. OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

Another fab visit to the Oxo tower brasserie. Charming, helpful and attentive staff. A request for a table by the window couldn't be promised beforehand, but they managed to find one for us. The food, as ever, was delicious. Our guests were so impressed, as indeed were we.

The experience was amazing. I rang the restaurant as we were running a bit late and they were very nice. As soon as we arrive they asked if we were celebrating anything and as it was my birthday they gave us a very nice table by the window :) The food was amazing too and the they look after us really well! Highly recommend the restaurant! You made of my special birthday an unforgettable one. Thank you! Natalia
