Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.
Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as slow-cooked duck leg, green bean salad and shallot dressing or sea bass with heritage potatoes, wild garlic and pickled salsify. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.
Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes raspberry and thyme cheesecake, strawberry and pistachio pavlova and peach and elderflower cake.
OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.
Please request an outdoor table using the ‘special request’ field when booking. Note that although the restaurant will do their best to accommodate the request, an outdoor table may not be available.

I personally think it would have been better dining in the daytime, as although we got a window table, the lights from the kitchen were reflecting on the window so you couldn't actually take in the amazing view!

We couldn’t make original booking, staff very accommodating to rearrange Day in order that we could visit.
Disappointed that special request to sit by the window was not fulfilled.

From the moment we arrive till the end of dinner on 13th January, the OXO tower team made our night unforgettable. Excellent service, food and drinks accompanied by beautiful live music, we would like to thank Oxo Tower for making our special night truly unforgettable. Excellent choice of vegetarian options as well with all food presented exquisitely.
Add to that the stunning views of the river by night with a calm ambiance, we will definitely return.
We would like to mention an extra special thank you to our waiter Anupam, his service and style was highly commendable and he really did make our night extra special. Many thanks Anupam, we hope to see you again when we come back.

Didn't like the music in the bar and brasserie - it distracted from the view and conversation.
I had two starters as a meal and the second one - king prawns was £15 for three prawns which were not very large at all. Both starters were perfectly presented but certainly not filling.

Busy resteraunt. Not quite ready when we arrived for a 21.30 booking and no room in bar to sit - great buzz about the place. Food did not come out in a hurry and cocktails included were awful. Food was good and eventually we were moved to a window table. Probably worth the money for the set menu deal but not really good value if you were full price?

Fab experience overall! Went for lunch to celebrate our 19th wedding anniversary. The service was attentive without being intrusive; food delicious and the cocktails were a bonus:-). The gentleman who served us helped me choose the Sauternes to go with the luscious sticky toffee pudding which was perfect pairing. To top it all off, we had a 3rd plate with ice cream and Happy Anniversary doodle in chocolate. The only thing that could have been better was the bleak and grey weather outside.

Great pre theatre dinner. Booked the winter deal online, was asked if wanted to seat 25 mins early which I accepted, but was not told that I couldn’t have the deal I booked as before 5pm. For a restaurant of this stature, the staff should have given me the option or told me to wait until 5pm. This would have resulted in no awkwardness when sorting the bill..!!

We dined from the set menu which was excellent value with a good choice of food. As it was a double birthday celebration I requested a table by the window with views of the Thames. My request was acknowledged although they could not guarantee it would be possible. However we had a fabulous table and were treated like VIPs. The oxtail and buckwheat pancake was beautiful - almost like eating annoxtail ravioli. The crispy cod with sticky rice and shrimp curry sauce was so tasty and fresh with a lovely salad with lime dressing. Rhubarb brûlée and sticky toffee pudding desserts both perfect and came with a candle in each and Happy Birthday piped in chocolate sauce on the plates. The only negative point was the cocktail that was included in the price as it was very unpalatable and neither of us drank them. However, the staff were superb and without any prompting or complaints from us we were offered a glass of wine in place of the cocktail and also were brought a complimentary glass of fizz. Really good customer care! Great ambience and an ideal venue for a special occasion.
