Perched high on the 8th floor of OXO Tower on London’s South Bank, OXO Tower Brasserie affords sensational views across London and the Thames from its 250-foot terrace and dining area. The informal setting has an infectious buzz, with live music from an extensive line-up of jazz musicians adding an extra dimension to the experience.

Head Chef Keir Barry has created a modern Brasserie menu with simple, fresh and comforting dishes which champion the best local and seasonal produce on offer. Tuck into mains such as slow-cooked duck leg, green bean salad and shallot dressing or sea bass with heritage potatoes, wild garlic and pickled salsify. Many meat dishes are cooked over charcoal on the Josper grill, creating a rich barbecue flavour that is perfect for al fresco dining in the summer.

Just a stone’s throw from some of London’s most popular theatres, OXO Tower Brasserie also caters for those looking for a quick meal before or after the show with its pre and post theatre dining menu. An excellent cocktail list accompanies the menu, and unique to the Brasserie, ‘Not Afternoon Tea’ is a must-try experience for those who enjoy a sweet treat with a difference. A selection of delicious desserts includes raspberry and thyme cheesecake, strawberry and pistachio pavlova and peach and elderflower cake.

OXO Tower Brasserie in London is just 8 minutes’ walk from Southwark and Waterloo and 10 minutes’ walk from Blackfriars Tube station.

The atmosphere was nice, the food was delicious and the waiters were attentive to our needs.

Far too many tables crowded too closely together - ours by the window with two chairs put across grating and uneven. Front of house confusion staff standing around but not helping check people to their tables or take their coats. Waiters friendly but rather clumsy with breakages. Keen to emphasise that the table would be needed again in two hours, but service slowish to start. Too noisy to hear conversation at the table. View the main saving grace.

Starters excellent flavour and in obtrusive service. Got windy table as requested.

The service, food and presentation were excellent especially the desserts! The cocktails were ok, couldn't really taste the alcohol. The overall experience is highly recommended for the £33 per person summer dining offer. Did this 3 years ago, the menu was more extensive and cocktails were definitely more alcoholic then! However I love the Oxo and would come again.

The food and atmosphere was great however the service was the highlight for us. Amazing service from all staff in the Brasserie from start to finish. We went to celebrate an anniversary and I had previously arranged for a message to be written on my partners dessert which didn't happen. The service from the bar wasn't as great as they were concentrating more on the larger groups so we had to go up to the bar to order and pay for our drinks as the table service wasn't as attentive. Definitely would recommend dinner or lunch to anyone and drinks if you're going as a group.

My wife and I spent our first anniversary here and had an absolutely splendid time. Everything was perfect - the courteous, polite staff all the way to the amazing Not Afternoon Tea experience.

It was our first visit and the waiter explained everything to us in detail whilst remaining so composed as it was a windy day. Without a doubt I shall be recommending others should they pine for a Afternoon Tea experience.

I love Oxo Tower and it's been about 2yrs since I last managed to get there. What I love - views, good selection of drinks, varied menu, excellent customer service. Can highly recommend the blue cheese tart as a starter and the falafel salad as a main if your a vegetarian, we went for lunch on Sunday and it was a last minute decision and managed to get a booking quite easily.
I've also booked for a larger party for Xmas as it greats for a wow place for those who haven't been before.
