Ribeye steak was to die for. Perfectly cooked.

On the ground floor of the Hilton London Bankside Hotel, OXBO Bankside uses local produce to create flavour-packed European dishes. An elegantly styled dining room William Morris-inspired design makes for a uniquely chic dining destination.
Regional produce such as Cornish monkfish cheeks and Borough Market Portobello mushroom is highlighted in dishes such as duck breast with artichoke purée, mandarin jus and sweet potato crisps. Beautifully presented desserts such as blueberry and fudge bread and butter pudding provide a mouth-watering conclusion to the OXBO Bankside menu.
The William Morris-inspired design at OXBO London features bare brickwork and metal screens to produce a cool, urban ambience which is enhanced by the open kitchen. Once a Victorian distillery, the aptly named Distillery bar features aromatically infused cocktails which celebrate the site’s history.
Paul Bates leads the Hilton Bankside’s innovative restaurant which is a 5-minute walk from Southwark Tube station.

Very welcoming staff. Our waitress Phoebe was extremely good and gave me a large print menu when she saw me struggling with the very small print on the set menu!
The food is excellent, lobster fish cake to start, I had hake and a sundae for dessert.
It's a shame there was hardly anyone in the restaurant.
This is a very good value deal that includes a glass of prosecco. I will definitely return

Excellent meal - served quickly even though a big group and really tasty food! Also brought us out a lovely birthday treat as they saw us opening presents.

Would highly recommend, have been twice now and one of the best deals and attentive staff. Left a comment to say we are celebrating birthdays and they brought us 2 chocolate cakes with candles - a nice touch!

Second time here.
Lovely place, decorated in a modern way, very welcoming staff.
Ordered a 3 course meal with a glass of prosecco; everything was nicely cooked in a very simple way but superbly done. Definitely worthwhile

The food here is really delicious. We had the 3 course set menu and it was a really good selection. I feel like I would have loved whatever I picked to eat as the quality was excellent. My friend is vegetarian and also loved the food. It was good value for money as we paid £23 for 3 courses and a glass of bubbly.
It is a really nice restaurant and quite spacious. I like the fact that you can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen, which adds a touch of interest and uniqueness to the restaurant.
The service was relatively quick (apart from at the end when we tried to get the bill).
I arrived before my friend did and my only slight criticism was the frosty waitress who showed me to our table. She didn't crack a smile and wasn't very welcoming. The table she showed me to was right in the middle of the restaurant and she seemed less than impressed when I asked for a window table. The restaurant was practically empty when I arrived and remained like that when we left a couple of hours later so it shouldn't have been a problem. If not for this, I would have given the restaurant a five star rating.

Great food and service. Three course dinner with bubbles was just right.

Something of a curate's egg: charming staff, flabby cava (how can a glass of bubbly cava be flabby you may ask), starters fine, friend's sirloin steak carried a whopping £15.50 excess but he enjoyed it, my 6oz ribeye would have been fine if it had been, as asked, rare rather than raw (to begin with they said they were all medium and that was that), delicious but delicious lemon tarts for pudding..

Friendly service and great food that was well presented. They made our Anniversary special by presenting us with a piped 'Happy Anniversary' around an amazing chocolate dessert.
