Lovely food, lovely atmosphere, good space around the tables, friendly and fun staff. The scales were wonderful, nearly as good as the chocolate dessert!

We had the 6 course winter menu, every course was absolutely beautiful including sourdough bread and butter. The wine pairings were excellent but very meagre servings for the price. We had an additional cheese course, the 3 cheeses were very tasty but not sure about the latest fad for pickling vegetables on the side. We also were not sold on the artichoke ice cream on the dessert course this again seems to be the latest fad as seen on masterchef. Will we return, most definitely. One final point, on a very cold winter's night the room was slightly chilly.

A real experience dining at OX you get the taster menu made up of what is fresh and in season at the time. The wine paring is really thought out well to match each course you are eating. It isa real special occasion restaurant.

Previously had been for the summer tasting menu in July. Found overall the quality of the food served at OX had even improved since then - small things like the bread was warmer and the gougère (appetiser) which last time was slightly soft was perfectly crisp. The staff were amazingly attentive and the wine selection that we asked the waiter to choose was a fabulous pairing with the food. Overall the 2 standout dishes were the venison and the blood orange/chocolate dessert (we had never seen Jerusalem artichoke ice-cream but it was amazing and very innovative). Had a great experience and will definitely return.
