A very pleasant and intimate restaurant. All the dishes were excellent, especially the hake.

Wonderful experience. The service was first class, the attention to detail impressive and the food outstanding. My dinner companion is a vegetarian and her dishes matched mine with brilliance. It is so refreshing to eat somewhere where the same attention is afforded to a vegetarian as someone enjoying the full range. It makes for much more relaxed dining.

We had a fabulous meal at a reasonable price. We opted for the Chefs choice at £50 per head and we were not disappointed. Such favours! The staff were outstanding!

We loved every minute of our time spent here. The cottage is so beautiful and the space feels intimate and special. We went for a late lunch and wasn't rushed once, which was really nice. It was cold and miserable outside in March but inside was lovely. The food is outstanding and we had to do another order of the fried squid as it was our favourite. Can't fault them on anything. Loved it and will be back.

Service was very good - staff were very eloquent and knowledgeable on the dishes being served. We appreciated that we were not being rushed through the courses and really enjoyed our dining

Beautiful balanced flavoursome food. Great that the menu is left on the table. I seem to remember that when we ate there before there were a variety of complimentary breads that were just lovely to mop up all of those who lovely sauces (am I the only heathen!?). The sourdough is not the best for this purpose and the £3 a bit cheeky!
Wine list was ok and expensive. I would prefer more white wine varieties given that it is a fish restaurant

Service was good, food was ok, I wouldn't say amazing and was a little shocked to see a supplier walking through the door with Vac Pac Frozen Fish after we are being given all the spill about fresh local fish
