Service is fantastic & the amazing fish dishes speak for themselves. Our favourites were cured mackerel with beetroot & basil cream, hake with red peppers & paprika butter & crispy ling. The chocolate fondant with hidden raspberries was the best we've ever tasted.

This was our fourth lunch outing to the Fish Kitchen. Once again we had an absolutely fantastic lunch. The food was, as always. exceptional. My favourite dish this time (we had one of each on the menu) was the Cured Brill with spring onions and ginger dressing. My wife Angela is in two minds about her favourite. A choice between the Red Mullet with Girolles mushrooms or the Monkfish Superb. 10/10 for the staff too always helpful and explain exactly what the dish is.

We tried the tasty menu at £45 per person. Lovely setting in picture postcard fishing village. Staff friendly, attentive, informative and polite. Food beautifully prepared and tasty. Cannot wait to come back.

Tried the tasting menu. Fantastic! Loved the ling and chilli jam and red mullet with girolles also the grill and anchovy. Really liked trying things we wouldn't have ordered. The yoghurt and mint mousse/soufflé was also delicious and different. Our waitress was incredibly helpful/knowledgable and added to the overall experience. My husband had been cursing me for making us travel from near Looe to the restaurant but the food quietened him! Decor and overall feel of the room were also lovely, simple but appropriate to the age of the building. Being right on the harbour front, choose the table opposite the door! Pub up the road was good for a pre dinner drink as we were early. We parked by the other Outlaw restaurant. A short walk downhill, harder work on the way back!

Excellent food well presented and served. Small sharing plates almost tapas style in a very quaint old building down by the seafront. The cured brill was especially good and the crispy Ling. Definitely a go again next time we are down this way.

Sublime from start to finish. We particularly enjoyed the raw brill & wish we had ordered one each.
