We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. It was nice and relaxed staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. My daughter loved the lobster and my favourite was the scallops and brill.

Delicious and beautifully presented dishes and a wonderful atmosphere in the Fish Kitchen - we had the set menu and the best dishes were the dover sole, the brill and the scallop

Excellent food and excellent service. A shame a cup of tea is charged at £3.50 without mentioning it’s an additional cost

We are from Japan and familiar with eating [raw] fish. But, each dish delivered a fresh and surprising good taste and we enjoyed it very much. Especially, [raw] scallop and cured brill were fantastic and nicely marinated with the multiple flavours sauce. Every item was fresh and lively. Scampi fries are one of the most luxurious way of eating it but very enjoyable. The main dish of whole Dover sole is a bit too familiar to us as a casual way of eating this fish in Japan, but the sauce is nicely matching. Your recommended Albarino is perfect!! Overall, it's very special experience and would love to try again! Thank you very much for your service despite our delay in arriving. We had a wonderful time.

We've been several times before and loved it. This time we had the 6 course fixed price menu which was the best ever. Though still billed as sharing plates, only the mackerel pate was to share; for the other course we had a plate each. As we are old fogies there was too much food so we took the sole home and had it for lunch the next day, thus stretching out the enjoyment. The staff were, as always, wonderful. It's just a magic place.
