Simple and straight-forward booking process, and on arrival, our maître d' was astute enough to ask if we had theatre tickets booked (which we did) and immediately staff ensured our service was prompt without feeling hurried or rushed. Beautiful calming surroundings in a dimly lit modern mid-century urban oasis. Plush dining room that feels more like a cozy lounge, uncluttered by too many tables. Try and get a window seat and arrive at dusk; by candlelight, you'll watch the city of London yawn and fall fast asleep. We had the pre theatre menu; a real steal at £22 for 3 courses. The entire meal was delectable but the real standout dish was a starter of wild garlic and white bean soup. Who'd have thought something so simple could still have me thinking about it 4 days later!? Can I have the recipe?

Excellent food and excellent service. Had lunch here with a client and we both really enjoyed the food. The menu has a lot of variation with some interesting combinations and unusual ingredients. It wasn't busy, just the right amount of people for that low hum of conversation but nothing distracting. Tables were well spaced out so you don't feel cramped. Waiters were very good and timely. Will definitely go again.
