My fiancé and I had a wonderful evening at Ormer on Friday evening. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly baked sourdough bread and beautifully cooked partridge with truffle jus and butternut, delicately presented. For us, the crowning glory was the dessert menu. My perfectly risen pumpkin soufflé with gingerbread ice-cream was light, sweet and full of flavour. My fiancé's apple crumble was a cleverly constructed apple made from white chocolate and filled with warm apple and creme patissiere. The staff were extremely knowledgeable and attentive. A thoughtful touch that will stay with me was the miniature stool provided for me handbag to sit on. Brilliant! We will come here again.

Beyond impressed. The staff were fantastic and the food was incredible. Chef even made a special vegan menu which really was going the extra mile. I tend to get the same things every time I go out to eat and this was so refreshing to have such a well thought out menu of choice & variety. Service was 'on point', we felt very well looked after. Wine recommendations were just right too, he knows what he's talking about. All in all, this is a hidden gem in Mayfair and I will be back.

Delicious! Impeccable service! Valentin and Rama provided a seamless and extremely friendly service as did the rest whose names I do not know. Congratulations to all at Ormer and in particular the Chef whose delightful cuisine allowed us a mouthwatering experience! I will definitely be returning!

Quite on a Monday evening, but staff very attentive and personable without being overbearing. Food was incredible for the price. Both restaurant and bar have lovely decor and atmosphere.

A perfect night out from the moment we stepped through the door. Attentive and knowledgeable staff, superb food, beautiful surroundings and absolutely amazing value. Ormer was recommended to us, so we booked the special offer GBP 35 menu of 3 courses + champagne on Saturday night. Champagne was served with complimentary taster of brioche with lobster (yum), along with sour dough and home churned herb butter. The special offer menu is an amazing 3 course selection, with 2 choices for each course. My husband and I chose differently so we experienced everything. Starters, Fois Gras served in consomme (unbelievable) and cured salmon (great). As Kiwis living in Mayfair, we of course ordered 2 glasses of Yealands Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough (only GBP 6.50) to go with our mains of Skate with crab risotto and Partridge with incredible ensemble (both exceptional). The desserts were so spectacular we took photos to send to one of our children who is interested in fine dining. Apple crumble "reinvented" and Pumpkin souffle (exceptional) with the most delicious seed biscuit and ice cream. We were entirely happy, and then at the end we were each presented with a little plate of 3 petite fours, which were all amazing special treats. We have been to the Fat Duck (Bray), French Laundry (Yontville), Noma (Copenhagen) and Dinner at Heston (London). All are exceptional, expensive, one-off experiences. We would say that Ormer was all this, with one difference - our bill was less than GBP 100, so this wonderful experience doesn't have to be a one-off! We can't believe it. We asked how often the special menu will change and we were told every two weeks. Statement - we will be fortnightly regulars - and on special occasions we will bring guests for a la carte menu, or for work dinners in the separate dining rooms. Great night, well done. A great addition to the Mayfair restaurant scene.

Food really good on the set menu, especially the two choices for dessert both delicious and beautifully presented. 3 courses with glass of champagne also had bread, amuse bouche and petit fours all for £35. Wine list also included reasonably priced selection divided into £20's £30's AND £40's

I came across the restaurant by accident and at a last minute when we already had dinner arrangements made. Yet, the set menu looked so delicious that we chose to try this instead and we were not disappointed. The staff we absolutely superb from the first moment we walked in. They were extremely polite, caring and attentive. It was just unbelievable and so hard to find in London these days. A barman was making great suggestions of cocktail choices and the food was absolutely delightful. They have a great wine menu and extremely well priced for every budget. I will never forget that pumpkin souffle which was absolutely mind blowing and i just can't compliment staff enough for making our evening, which was supposed to be nice and casual, so amazing and definitely memorable.
