The dramatically glamorous surroundings of Opus One are a sharp riposte to the Italianate façade of the Radisson Blu Edwardian Manchester in which it is situated. An extravaganza of red chandeliers, glossy black woodwork and antique gold wall hangings give this striking central Manchester restaurant a bold, vibrant ambience. Cuisine is fittingly modern British, with locally sourced produce dressed up in excitingly eclectic flavours.

Went as a group of six. Had a mix of the traditional afternoon tea and the gentlemans tea. Both were fantastic..a real treat in such beautiful surroundings. Couldn't finish what we has and our table server, Davide was very helpful. He brought us some boxes and napkins so that we could take what we counldn't eat home with us. Very very nice experience.......would to do it again.

Excellent service, lovely surroundings and the gentleman's afternoon tea was a delicious alternative to a traditional afternoon tea. My Dad loved it!!

Service and food excellent aside from one small blip with a stale scone on the Afternoon Tea. (Apology and replacement were quickly offered)

Lovely setting. I have a number of food allergies and had pre warned the restaurant. I went through everything again when i got there. The cakes they sent were great but the sandwiches (gluten and dairy free) were boring. They were just slices of gluten free bread with a slice of meat on. No dairy free marg, no dressing - just boring cardboard. They were served like packed lunch sandwiches - crusts on. Very disappointing. No imagination.
My father had no dietary requirements and thoroughly enjoyed his.
Wouldn't recommend if you want Gluten Free!

Really enjoyed the food ( gentle mans afternoon tea ) and the waiter was really polite and friendly making the whole experience very pleasurable and we would definately recommend this to anyone .
