Unfortunately the table service was poor.
Soup wasn’t very hot but didn’t want to send it back as we had already been sitting a long time.
Mussels for main dish very very good!
    Pity about service

Enjoyed our visit. Food was very good (we went for the festive menu). Service from Nils was excellent. We were surprised at just how many people were in the restaurant for lunch. We thought it might be a bit quiet (hotel restaurant for lunch just before Christmas doesn't immediately spring to mind as likely to be busy). However, the atmosphere was good: bit of a buzz without being noisy.

The food was incredible. We both had cod, which was cooked to perfection. The deal was very good value and the wine was reasonably priced too.

Came here with my wife having some time ago really enjoyed the Dining at the Pass experience. Lovely food including beautifully cooked steak and lamb. Nice selection of wines (we had NZ Sauvignon with a hint of blackcurrant). Service also was top notch and very attentive to needs. We were even treated to some amusing entertainment in the bar beforehand - white collar inebriation, a potty mouth woman who amazingly wasn't starting a fight despite her poetic lyricism and the oldest binger in town who looked like he was walking sideways on a steep slope. All in all a great night!
