Great customer service from all the staff involved in serving us, very friendly and charming. Food exceeded our expectations! Generous portions (huge red gurnard!) and cooked to perfection. The mussels in two of the starters were plump, sweet and tasted as if cooked to order not kept hot. Good value for money. We’ll definitely be back!

Service was very friendly. We had a booth which was lovely and spacious, with plenty of room for all the dishes. Food was amazing, very well presented and lots of delicious flavours which all blended fabulously together. We all had different dishes and everyone loved their choices. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back. Definitely 5 stars in our opinion.

Amazing food and amazing service. Can’t wait to come again. We had 3 starters because we couldn’t decide - chilli beef, squid and pork and all were delicious.

The Service was excellent. The food was OK but some of the vegetables were cold (not ok). Plates cold (not OK).

As per usual it was all very nice! Disappointed however, on the Creme Brûlée, it seems to be getting smaller, and in view of the £7 cost, I think it’s not good value. Preferred the days when it came in flaming - good theatre!!!

Had a lovely meal with my wife, two children and their gran early on Saturday evening. Despite showing up half hour earlier than serving time, they were happy for us to take our seat and have a drink. Menu is short but there’s a decent range and price is not bad for the quality and portion size. Menu for kids is even shorter, but more than enough choice for our two. Again, quality and portion size were decent for the price. Between us we had duck, steak, spiced bean burger, kid’s fish n chips and kid’s mussels. All excellent. Decent selection of drinks as well. Service was excellent and quick. Restaurant is comfortable, fairly spacious and relaxed. Only criticism would be that it got very noisy in there once the restaurant filled up. All in all, really enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for the finest of fine dining experience this may not be the best option available - and that’s not what they’re aiming for to be honest - but for the price and relaxed atmosphere you can’t really beat it. Would definitely recommend and return.
