Embodying Rainer’s commitment to precision, quality and consistency, flavour-rich dishes are served for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. The lunch menu is specific to the East, offering a range of a la carte dishes as well as an accelerated 3-course weekday set lunch. For dinner, premium meat cuts on the Oblix East menu include Porterhouse to share, and free-range pork chop with bacon relish and rosemary oil, whilst Dover sole with parsley butter, barbecue black cod, and whole lobster are amongst the fresh seafood specialities.
The bar at Oblix East London serves a visionary cocktail menu, with creative mixes on hand to complement the food. Discover signature blends like Tanqueray gin with lavender and champagne, or vodka with lychee, bitters and egg whites. On arrival we had to queue for 20 minutes before being able to enter security. Once seated luckily a window seat we received friendly and attentive service from all staff and a complimentary glass of Argentinian Chandon which was lovely. Our cocktails and meal was tasty and well presented my partners pudding came with a candle and chocolate happy birthday inscription! Would have been nice to have gone further up the shard to take in the view the other side but all in all 8.5/10. Unsure if I was overcharged, need to check receipt.

Obviously the views were amazing, thats the only amazing thing about it.
The decor was nothing special, We have dined in far nicer places.
The menue was uninspiring. Presentation was fine.
The food was far too salty.
There was a hair in my friends main course! As an apology, they gave her a free bowl of chips!!!!!
Service was slow.
£9 for a bottle of water was grossly over priced.
Staff were friendly, very nice.

The easy summary is probably ‘the most overpriced steak and chips we’ve ever had’.
The staff at Oblix East are incredibly polite and attentive, which is good considering the mandatory 13% service charge.
The bar itself is incredibly noisy, the acoustics making it very difficult to have a conversation because everybody is shouting over everybody else and the music. Not a problem in the bar but our table was in the same bar area and we were seated at the smallest and lowest table I’ve been expected to dine from! The lighting in the eating area isn’t great either.
When the main course arrived there was absolutely no room for everything on the table and we had to play the ‘shunt everything around until it fits’ game making it feel even more cramped in, especially with people constantly walking past us and knocking into us - something I did not expect of this level of restaurant!
The food portions on the ‘while you decide’ and ‘the starters to share’ section of the menu are disappointingly small. We shared the chorizo, which had 4 tiny slices of meat and a couple of greasy croutons, followed by the steak tartare, which was nice enough and the pork skewers, again nice enough but incredibly fatty. You have to order a starter each then share it, don’t be fooled by the ‘to share’ part.
The main course we both chose was sirloin with fries and a dip (neither of us can recall what it was but it was green!). My husband’s steak was very nice but mine, although cooked nicely, had a stringy texture. I accept this isn’t the restaurants fault but it was just another disappointment.
The beer only comes in bottles and is expensive for what it is but considering where you are it is expected. We had a bottle of red wine with our meal which was of a good quality.
So, basically we had steak and chips with a bottle of red wine In a loud, cramped and claustrophobic environment for over £200. Yes, the views are nice but not worth the money - very mediocre

Amazing service, the nicest wait staff I just wanted to hug them all. The wait for the food was really long. Food is hit or miss, the vegetarian pasta sauce was not enjoyable but I heard the burger was great. The sides and starter was INCREDIBLE. Great asaparagus and who knew tomatoes could taste so good. Cocktails were to die for. To top off the amazing service we got, we were moved to a window seat by the end of the night to enjoy the view and got dessert and that chocolate brownie sundae will change your life.
