Found on the west side of the 32nd floor of London’s skyline-dominating Shard building, Rainer Becker's Oblix offers his signature style of upscale, sophisticated, urban dining. A flash open kitchen, complete with mesmerising spit roast and sizzling charcoal grill, brings a touch of theatre to the clean-cut, minimalist dining room.

Alongside succulent meats from the rotisserie and supremely fresh seafood dishes, the Oblix menu features a range of luxury meat cuts finished on the josper grill. Enjoy dishes like lamb chops with harissa and yoghurt, grilled Dover sole with parsley butter or Porterhouse steak to share. Diners can be directed through the staggering wine list at the interactive sommelier station: the first of its kind in London. Choose from cherry-picked international bottles, and peruse some of the world’s most-prized vintages.

Afternoon tea at Oblix West pays homage to the capital, blending ingredients sourced from favourite local purveyors found throughout London. The super-slick bar at Oblix in London offers a more relaxed vibe, with guests treated to express deli options and decadent weekend brunches, while a visionary cocktail menu offers mixes designed to match the food.

In one of London’s most sought-after settings, Oblix West at The Shard is a 3-minute walk from London Bridge stations.

Oblix operates a smart dress code. Gym trainers, running shoes, flip flops, sports wear, and baseball caps are not allowed. Please note any decision regarding the suitability of a guest's appearance will be entirely at the discretion of the management. Oblix West also operates a no under 16s policy after 18:00.

Waitress was ill and losing her voice, we could barely hear what was she was trying to say, service was average as was the food. Incredibly overpriced for the experience considering it was £100 per head.

Fabulous atmosphere and delicious food! Also very high standard service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Well unfortunately this was a MASSIVE disappointment and I will not go back to Oblix. We have previously been to Aqua Shard and Hutong which were outstanding and Oblix couldnt be further from that.
On arrival we were rushed to the bar as our table wasn’t ready, we were shown to a table with no seats so we had to stand even though we had my fiancé’s nan with us who is 80! We were left with drinks menus and nobody came to take our order, when we finally got someone’s attention to order the drinks we were told sorry you can’t have a drink now your table is ready!!!
We went to the restaurant and had menus shoved in front of us. There was no introduction and no explanation of the menu (although we were having afternoon tea). We opted for a glass of champagne which was poured at the table, the waiter guessed the measure and some glasses had much more than others! The sandwiches/cakes arrived and it was a very small portion for three people. Three fingers sandwiches each, two small scones, two small pastries and a posset each. For £52 per head this was outrageous. When previously having afternoon tea at Aqua they constantly asked if we’d like more tea, sandwiches etc and we didn’t get asked once in fact we didn’t see a member of staff again until they plonked the bill in front of us after us after being there just over an
hour. I felt we were being rushed out so they could have the table again. Before leaving I went to the bathroom which was dark and not very clean. So all in all a very poor experience.

The views, the courtesy of the staff, the serenity and up-dating of the place and the excellent wine list plus the exquisite food made our stay a sublime and unforgettable lunch.

Very disappointed a distinct lack of atmosphere, steak was not cooked properly ie medium rare, it was grey and tasteless, the home cooked chips were not thick or tasty...only saving grace was the view!

This was much better than I had expected. We went on an Open Table deal. The starters were OK, the suckling pig main course was absolutely delicious. The staff were lovely and the service prompt but not overbearing. The best thing of course is the view. We had a window table and even on a murky day it was spectacular. Wine is expensive though

Very good service from the moment of arrival and dropping coats off, escorted to table, served drinks and meal and after meal escorted to cocktail bar on the opposite side.
